Every true, full rose perfume, of which Krigler MANHATTAN ROSE is one, inevitably invites comparison in my mind to TEA ROSE. In this case, my immediate reaction to applying MANHATTAN ROSE was: "Smells like TEA ROSE." All of the stems, leaves, and thorns are included here along with the velvety petals and together they produce a very rich rose experience indeed.
In a direct side-by-side comparison, I find it very difficult to tell the two contenders apart, and because they both have medium sillage and excellent longevity, I am compelled to choose TEA ROSE over MANHATTAN ROSE for the simple reason that it costs 1/50th as much! No joke: my 2oz bottle of TEA ROSE cost $4, so I recommend that savvy perfumistas--who do not shy away from bargain-bin bottles, provided that they harbor within them genuine perfume--save their big Krigler bucks for something else from this house!

Love roses? It's a must try for you then!Krigler's rose is green, fresh, washed by a spring rain. It is not sweet like Bulgarian rose. There's a little powderness in the base, I guess due to violet notes. Truly, it is one of the most romantic and feminine scents ever!
