Showtime EDT by Kylie Minogue is a floral fruity gourmand fragrance for women. Showtime EDT is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2008. The nose behind this fragrance is Vincent Schaller. Top notes are black currant and wild strawberry; middle notes are freesia, licorice, lilac, tiare flower and rose; base notes are brazilian rosewood, white musk and praline.

This is pure, unadulterated sweetness. On me this isn't very floral at all: just a jam / candy sweetness with a bit of lilac, that turns into pink cotton candy, marshmallows, and pralines. (Is anyone else hungry?) Lasting power is good - four hours and still going strong.

If I'm completely honest, it's a bit much for my tastes. But if you're a fan of Pink Sugar, you might want to give this one a try.

i fell in love with this fragrance.smells so delicious and exciting.the scent doesn t change much in time but the smell of sweet strawberries drives me crazy.the lasting power is also great,i washed my hand i still could smell it on my hand.the bottle looks fantastic,i think i will have to purchase this perfume very soon.i m not a fan of kylie but this scent along with sweet darling are just yummy,gourmand as i like and with just the right notes to suit my skin.i find the perfume pretty expensive although,maybe i ll just wait to see if i can get a discount.

I think Kylie should have stopped after making 'Sweet Darling' and relax for a while instead of creating such a horrible perfume.
This fragrance is too much. Too sweet, too sexy, too fruity - Kylie became a bit vainglorious after so much success?
So I won't suggest this perfume even if you like it on your skin, because your environment won't. Maybe if it wasn't so quintessential? Yes, you have to wash your neck after pouring Showtime on it, and the remains are acceptable - but maybe neither they are.
Anyway the bottle is a masterpiece.

I just bought this today, but the store didn't have the edp, so I bought the EDT instead.

When I first sprayed it, I can smell the blackcurrant and strawberry together like scented candies. And it stayed a couple minutes. The Rose then came in, with Licorice. And the notes stop at the musk in the end.

I thought it only smelled like strawberries, but I was wrong, since it was along time ago that I smelled this.

But, what I like to say is If ur a fan of Kylie, just buy it. She wont let you down.

SHOWTIME comes in EDT and EDP varients. The perfume is a nicer scent - the notes blend together much moe subtly.


This isn’t anywhere near original; the liquorice and berries are very reminiscent to Pink Sugar, especially when coupled with the foody base notes.
But I think Pink Sugar is more subtle then this, if you can believe that.

I used to be a big fan of Kylie, but I think it's time to grow up now & stop making tween scents to empty younger fans piggie banks...

I find it too sweet and even a bit weird, to be honest. I guess it's the licorice aroma that causes this dislike. Not my cup of tea, this fragrance.
