Mon Numero 9 is a modern interpretation of the famous Cologne. A classic top note: zesty, green and slightly tangy, it will leave you feeling uplifted, before catching you unawares with a contrast sustained first by shiso leaf, then by resinous notes that bring a sharp sophistication. Mon Numéro 9, with its festive mood, is like a vision of summer, in flip-flops and a white t-shirt in bright sunlight, a refreshing cocktail in hand.

Available as 100 ml EDC. Mon Numero 9 was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Bertrand Duchaufour.

gorgeous scent! it does smell very citrusy but not so much so you immediately smell like a certain fruit. it's fresh perfect for summer. reminds me a little of the batucada but without the 'kick' i find in batucada.

Opens with an intense burst of lemon, but not a girly lemon, a smooth sophisticated lemon, maybe that's the citron. Slightly soapy, very clean. Also a little cedar peeks through. Citrus loses intensity rather quickly, settling into a pleasant, but a bit more masculine, scent, probably from the minty shiso along with the cedar.

I can't find the rhubarb. Overall a wonderful opening that settles into a just pleasant, but just alright perfume. Doesn't last long, couple hours.
