Sweet and enticing.
I use it with moderation and wear it under my clothes.
and as I like to wear perfume on my hair, two spritz are enough. It can be combined easily with a vanilla bodylotion to round up your appearance.
It`s comforting and spicy but not boring or too harsh.
Simply beautiful when you`re in the mood for richer scents..
This is the sweetest cinnamon with rum, sometimes smells like freshly baked apple strudel. Rare in the mood, but when I wear it I enjoy. Sometimes bothers me cause it's so sweet and too much gourmet, you feel the sweetness in the mouth, sometimes simply too much.
The gluttony of crème caramel and the fineness of panna cotta accompanied by a cup of rum...
I tried it today, and I can say this fragrance is rithfully a real gourmand!
Compared to some of the most popular caramel perfumes, Dolcelisir is to them as a dessert of the best restaurant is to a fast-food cake... or as a semifreddo from high confectionery is to a packaged cake from a supermarket.
Caramel scents generally are not my thing, but I would be proud to wear Dolcelisir: it's a classy, refined fragrance, not a girly synthetic odor for noses yet to wean.
Although its warm and cozy main tones make it perfect for the wintertime, thanks to its softness (rose, lily of the valley and jasmine) and the balsamic notes tipical of mediterranean vegetation (bergamot, orange, elicriso), Dolcelisir is also suitable to less cold season.
The only downside is the relatively weak sillage: Dolcelisir is a warm, cozy scent... it's as its best when sniffed close to the skin of the wearer.
A masterpiece almost unknown, but happy is he who has the good fortune to have discovered it!
Not bad as a fragrance but very boozy on initial spray.
This falls strictly in the typical L'Erbolario sugary candy type. I'm not a fan of L'Erbolario, but this one is not so bad and it's quite playful!
Good staying power and nice scent for the money.
If you like it a lot go for the bigger bottle because it is much cheapier than little one!
I had a sample bag with 1 or 2 ml of scent inside. It used to drive me crazy because I loved it so much. A warm, cinnamon and rum, caramel, Christmasy fragrance, a sugary gourmand treat. I didn' buy it because a colleague of mine wears it at work. It is a must try from l'Erbolario.
The rum note is at first a bit daring to me: rum and sugar? Like liqueur in the morning it's a bit much ;)
After the booz there is a high of caramel, dry cinnamon and balsamic notes (though I couldn't swear on Benzoin or amber, tolu or such)... It comes pretty close to being just a gourmand vanillic fragrance, but for me this is so cozy and has something of wheat cookies with a beeswax/honeynote... Everyone who has a faible for porridge with cinnamon: this could be it - thrown in with amber and a bit of rosewater.
This is claimed to be made of natural ingredients and has nevertheless a good perfumy feeling and staying power. Highly enjoyable but only within colder temperatures!
this is a sweet perfume, but not so sweet. I've heard that is considered the cheap version of Loukhoum, by K. Mecheri. it is close to it, yes: but, I have to say, I prefer this one. there is something in Dolcelisis, anyway, that makes it more affordable (not only the price tag!) and I think it's the bergamot and the rum note at the opening. all the drydown is faboulos on me!
this is a winter perfume, for sure.
I've tried it yesterday, but it smelled too "boozey" on my skin. Maybe in winter...
have you ever tried Tea for Two by l'Artisan? So smoky sensuous and full of liquor? Well this Dolcelisir is for me the cheaper, sweeter and feminine version of T for 2. Dolcelisir has been on sale since just a season and you can smell it everywhere, underground, restaurants and cinema. Signs of its enormous success. Well done again L'erbolario.
Come la fragranza è debole,ho spruzzato 3-4 volte e non sentivo quasi niente.Sa di visciole cioè il vino di amarene italiano, piacera di sicuro agli amanti di scomparsa "Gloria".
lovely and longlasting as home fragrance and candle, warm beautiful and relaxing as shower gel and soap, but too strong as eau de toilette. too much rum on my skin..I feel drunk! and sick!!
