The house of L'Occitane en Provence has already accustomed us to their romantic editions which announcing the awaking of spring. Cherry blossom theme combined with fruit zests has been repeated this year with the new collection Cerisier Papillon which besides EDT encompasses perfumed body care products.
The romantic collection arrives on the market just before Valentine’s day and brings us an optimistic blend of notes. Top notes of Cerisier Papillon offer aromatic bay leaf combined with passionate blackberry and rose blooms. The heart highlights fruity notes of cherry and delicate peony flowers, resting on cherry extract and warm, cuddly Brazilian rosewood.
Cerisier Papillon / Spring Cherry Collection is decorated with charming and dashy illustrations of cherry blossom, while outer carton is colored in pale pink color. The fragrance is available as 50 ml EDT, and is accompanied with perfumed shower gel, body lotion, hand cream or butterfly-shaped perfumed soap. The collection arrives on the market in February 2013.

Woody and adorable, I love it.
There is definetely citrus note should be present here
above, Chanel's Chance Eau Tendre has it all put together for spring too.
I am l'Occitane's fan, but this one dosen't make me say wow! Yes it is nice and pleasant, but i found it a bit watered down. Like a chemical raspberry syrup. Very plastic smell to my nose. And that surprised me, because usually L'Occitaine doesn't smell plastically at all. But maybe it's my skin. I will not buy that one for sure!
I really like L'occitane perfumes they are the house that I own the most perfumes from, so when I went in to the store I was pretty set on buying Cerisier Papillion.
I'm sad to say I was pretty disappointed it didn't have anything interesting about it . CP smelled good sweet cherries and roses but it wasn't anything I felt like I needed to have.
If anyone else has the chance to smell this I would suggest that you should take the time to check it out. Hopefully someone will like it a lot more than I did.
I'm pretty sure I will give this a couple of more tries to see if opinion will change....
Could someone please compare this to the other cherry-themed offerings from L'Occitane, e.g. Cherry Blossom, and Cherry Blossom Princess? I know there have been others but they might be more difficult to track down since they are likely discontinued. Thanks!
Update:
So Cherry Princess seems to have come and gone, but I was able to do a side by side comparison of Spring Cherry and Cherry Blossom at a L'Occitane boutique yesterday. The differece is that Spring Cherry has a fresh distinct citrus in the top note, Cherry Blossom does not. They are both nice, but I think Cherry Blossom is fine as is, and really has no need to go in the citrus direction. That said, the manager told me that Spring Cherry is going to be around for a short while, so if you're already a Cherry Blossom fan, and would like to do a comparison for yourself, now's the time!
Nice, fresh, delicate fruity-floral. But not very surprising.
and very very sweet
smells beautiful-youtuful and floral
