L`Occitane is launching a new fragrance for men accompanied by body collection named Verdon after national park Verdon and the second largest canyon in the world. It was logical for creators of this house to combine natural goods and beauty with natural essences of compositions and ingredients of the new collection. L`Occitane points out care for environment and its protection, which is the main theme of this edition. The package used for this collection can be recycled after its cap is removed.
Eau de toilette Verdon is the first aquatic fragrance for men by L`Occitane. It was created of fresh, aquatic aromas associated with running waters near Verdon cliffs, along with aromatic mint and lemon. The fragrance is available as 50ml edt.
Besides Eau de toilette, the collection includes body care products with the same fragrant notes. You can choose between 150 ml Verdon Pure Face Wash, 100ml Verdon Energy Moisturizer, 100ml Verdon Invigorating Shave, Verdon Fresh Deo, Verdon Fresh Water Shower... The new collection can be expected on the market soon. Verdon was launched in 2010.

My husband owns this perfume and I love it, on his skin it smells like cedar/tobacco/fresh I don't get the citric notes at all. It is very manly and sexy, I can't stop smelling him when he wears this.
Similar to Acqua di Gio, but without that sour end. It's more minty too, I love the smell...very nice fragrance! If this lasts long, it will substitute my AdG when I run out of it.
PS.: This has the DNA of Hugo Element and Hugo Man too, may be a good substitute for those as well!
..
this one is very bad
its give feel like i want to sick ...
very very bad smell ..
Its an okay mint+citrus combo. Opening is beautiful, but then quickly fades. It's more an EDC than EDT. If this lasted more than one hour it'd me between my top ten summer. Unluckly it has almost zero lasting power.
Opens with a nice fresh mint and lemon note but quickly turns into a generic aquatic base. I really can't stand the aquatic "sport" type note. Tried washing it off and I can still smell it so it's long lasting if your in to the smell of the base.
A blast of extreme clean. I would not consider this suitable for women's wear under any circumstances, although I would enjoy nuzzling a man wearing it, and that's mostly due to the mint note.
bought it for my husband - who usually like Issey Miyake. He's fine with it, i like it because it smells less "department store" than the other men's frags. french is best, but still wants to get Fire Island by Bond - tres sensual!
An ordinary aquatic fragrance. I'm usually not a fan of aquatics, they generally smell too synthetic to me. But this one is the least synthetic one that I tried.
Very fresh fragrance with a good projection and a not a very good longevity in a quite ugly bottle as all L'Occitane bottles.
A nice and refreshing natural citric scent with a beautiful mint note, that lately turns aquatic. A unisex fragrance easy wearable at informal occasions.
Anyway I found many other fragrances that smell better and even classier and are better balanced for the same price, and with a far more beautiful bottle too.
I will never buy this fragrance. I like its scent but I don't love it. For the same price I can find plenty of better perfumes.
The mint in beginning smelled sugary, almost candy-like on me. Nothing that I really care about but, later, it gets aquatic and citric. With soda vibe the scent is kind of cool with a touch of watered down citrus and lots of ice. Remembers me a little of Prince Blanc by Princesse Marina de Bourbon, both in middle notes but this one is more fresh, I think. Good choice for summer.
The top notes of mint and lemon makes me fall in love with this EDT. Highly recomended for fresh scent lovers, it's simple and refreshing, because it contains pepermint oil in it. Briliant idea for someone who lives in a tropical country like me. However, I wish the top notes could last longer...
Frankly hadn't expected oddity that much, I thought that it must be a routine interesting natural spirit. But it reminiscent; it's like something else but independently is unique for itself and has own treats.
Starts out with fresh grassy balmy yummy lemony youthful tone. In the following gets near to Chanel Allure but not so similar and only close to skin.
Definitely an unisex one, even more feminine from the middle phase.
Natural fan must give it try specially for the cheap price.
I agree that Verdon can be unisex due to it's light and aquatic nature, but I feel as though it lacks a certain depth of character that I am used to with L'Occitane, especially concerning the mens fragrances.
Very fresh at start point mint & citrus. I would compare it to a cheap imitation of Aqua di Gio. I was expecting much more from l'Occitane.
A lovely natural aroma, very organic, green, fruity, aromatic and watery.. soft but very balanced, nothing in excess. Longevity is amazing, projection without doubts. Relaxing and peaceful aroma near of a green aura..
It smells burst of citrus + mint at the beginning, later it turns to cucumber imo.
Great scent. My girlfriend loves it. smells natural, fresh and subtle. and it's longlasting according my girl
Frosty fresh, minty fragrance, extremely longlasting.
Could pass as a unisex easily.
As it dries down, it reminds me of Acqua di Gio.
