Bayres Hombre by La Martina is a Leather fragrance for men. Bayres Hombre was launched in 2007. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Christophe Herault. Top notes are coriander, pink pepper, rhubarb, grapefruit and bergamot; middle notes are magnolia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and geranium; base notes are leather, tonka bean, amber, musk, vetiver, thuja , caramel, oakmoss and teak wood.

I never heard of La Martina perfumes and smelt this one by accident.
That was love from the first sight.
It is a good illustration for leather perfumes, that it is also such a beautiful smoky wood. Rich, noble expensive. Definitely vetiver as the heart of composition. It is often accomanied by geranium and rhubarb, which emphasise different facets of vetiver - rosy one and grapefruit/fresh/green one.
