I have to say this is quite an intruiging perfume to me! It is a sweet perfume, but very grown-up, nowhere near innocent-unicorn-fruity-sparkly sweet. The sillage and staying power are great. So far I've found there are only 15 ml purse sprays on the internet, but for me that would be more than enough, since a little goes a long way with this one and I would wear it to special occassions.
I bought the EdP purse spray a little while ago and finally got around to give it a try. (blind buy again).
It was beautiful from the bottle, and even more beautiful on skin!
I didn't notice much fruit, no grapefruit at all, but just enough sweetness to make a tender amd light (but not weak) smell.
What I did frind was a very powdery, creamy, soft, warm and sophisticated smell. It seems a little bit linear, in the way that it keeps it very own 'soul' from opening to drydown.
The sillage was perfect, and the drydown was clear and strong all the way. That's very rare on mys skin, I usually have to put my nose rather close to my wrist to get the drydown.
I'm not sure precisely how long it lasted, but I put it on before noon and 11 pm it was not much weaker than it was at 5pm. The next morning it was gone though, but still a fantastic longevity. 11+ hours is just awesome!
All in all I'm head over heels in love! I need a big bottle asap :)
I got a sample vial of this scent as a gift when I purchased something on Ebay. I was pleasantly surprised! Undiscovered is a heavy intoxicating sweet but spicey fragrance. Very feminine and yes, I agree with some of the comments below, very sexy. I wonder what men think of it, but if I were a man walking past a woman wearing this, I would definitely turn my head after smelling this. This is the fragrance I would wear if I wanted a romantic ending to a night out with an attractive man. I would not wear this every day because I don't think this scent goes with sneakers, but I'll keep it in mind for my high heeled moments...
I was a bit wary of this when I got my bottle in a 'blind' purchase. It was darker in hue than I anticipated (certainly darker than in the photos of it on here!) which, to me, indicated straightaway that it would be probably be stronger smelling than I expected too! Sure enough, when I spritzed some on it was definitely on the heavy side and smelled kind of 'retro' to me - deep and warm, slightly spicy with a tinge of raspberry'ness. After an hour or so the raspberry started to show through more and it became sweeter on my skin. I'd say it's more of an evening perfume, which is appropriate given that La Senza are a lingerie chain, but it's not so heavy that it would be overpowering worn during the daytime. For myself, I kind of like it but I'll have to wait and see if I fall in love with it!
an undiscovered beauty!!!
i was the lucky winner of this beautiful elegant tall 10ml pursespray for a very reasonable price.
citric-sweet-honey-amber-smell, just delicious !!! i don t find it cheap or artificial smelling at all! it's tender and warm and it smells expensive to me... love it very mutch!
the first burst is citric with sweet rasperry which smells like a sweet orangejuice, mysterious velvety Wisteria followed by slightly honeylayered petals of Lily and powdery heady Violet. drydown soft ambery with sweet flowery-fruity trails. truly elegant&sexy, nice !!!!
sillage very good, staying power very good! would not mind having a big bottle !
a very underrated perfume !
Very cheap fruity smell at first and lots of alcohol. Like a throat lozenge -Cherry Tunes! Dries slowly down to something a bit better, more floral and eventually to a very nice amber with vanilla tones.
Do you like honey?
Not the shop-bought, cheap, mixed, light variety, but the deep, dark, rich, single-flower honeys with big, ballsy flavours & heady floral aromas?
If that tickles your fancy, then you have to try this inexpensive gem. It is not a "Wow" scent (we're not talking complexities & unusual mixes) but it is playful, sassy & very, very wearable.
The honey-smell I experience must be due to the heady flowers used: lily & wisteria. I experience the same effect when I breathe in the bee-magnet "buddleia" flowers - no wonder it is called the "butterfly bush"! There is a tinge of powdery violet, but luckily it is way in the background here, adding another facet rather than taking centre stage.
The fruits are warm, glowing & dripping with the floral-honey note - slightly aged, not bright, fresh or sparkly. In a way it has the quality & nature of a liqueur....smooth, viscous, leisurely, aptly named as you will take your time to discover this scent.
Overall, this golden fragrance is elegant, slightly sultry & very womanly - it is not a teen fruity-floral. The dry-down is a polite, slightly powdery mid-weight amber.
I don't imagine it will remain "Undiscovered" here for long.
I like this! At first I thought it was a bit strong almost aftershavy at the beginning but its a strange smell, very different and a bit spicy orangey and clean. It smells really fresh and distinctive and it doesn't dry down into anything horrible, It's really very nice.
This perfume is fruity and absolutely delightful, you can get swept up in the beautiful aroma. I would definitely recommend it, sweeet!!!
The sweetness of wild berries combined with the freshness of white flowers! A very playful, powdery fragrance with just the right amount of sweetness in the warm and elegant drydown!
Sexy sexy sexy!Thats enough to say
P>S Violets mixed with warm amber and sweet strwbeeries..mmmm...
It has nothing in common with all other sweet scents out there. This one is special and very elegant and stylish ;)
