Magnifique is a feminine woody-floral fragrance, presented in 2008. It was created by two perfumers, Olivier Cresp and Jacques Cavallier. The face for this perfume is Anne Hathaway, and the premier took place in Grand Palais in Paris.
The perfume was created as floral-spicy-woody and very juicy. It includes the notes of nagarmot from India, with accords of saffron, cinnamon, Bulgarian rose, Mai de Grasse rose absolute, jasmine, Australian sandalwood and vetiver.
It is available as 50 and 75 ml edp, with 200 ml body milk and 200 ml bath. Magnifique is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2008.

I agree with Nuppu on the faintness of this edp. I was at a nearby Department store and sampled the new Manifique by Lancome. The top notes are remarkable and give one quite a blast of rose, saffron and other spiciness. Then after an hour is fades fast and I was left with this unique woody/flowery note. Lancome.com says the wood note used in Magnifique (Nagarmota wood) has never before used in perfumery. Could it be? I've not an extensive education in perfumery, but I must say it is quite extraordinary. I really enjoy its final base, but it is oh so weak. I suppose this is where the bath gel and lotion come in handy. :)

I only did get faint floral with a hint of woods and musk, very subtle and thin. Maybe I didn't spray enough?
