I'm not a fan of many Lanvin fragrances. But this one has a lovely mature but sexy and complex dry down. While the top notes are fresh they are not aldehyde which I despise due to allergies. The middle notes are floral but not in a grandmotherly way. It is oddly enough a clean breath of florals that transform into a warm close-to-the-skin-provocative wear for the next several hours for me. I'd love more like it.

I like this so much better then Lanvin Arpege. This doesn't smell vintage, to me it smells very modern. And I do see the similarities to Light Blue, and I love Light Blue. If you love Light Blue you will love this one. I find on my skin the scent doesn't last as long as it does on clothes. I sprayed my scarf this morning and my scarf still has the lingering scent and its really sweet and beautiful. This is one of my top 5 perfumes

Reminded me of Moshino's "I Love Love," which is way too sharp & nasty (not in a good way) on me. I'm glad I had purchased a sample vial!

Lanvin Arpege: I can find only
Eau d'Parfum, Eclat D'Arpege (edp), which I have.
Why can I not find the "REAL" Arpege Perfume? NOT Eau d'Parfum!
"eau" is French for "water." That's, of course, why my ECLAT D'ARPEGE LANVIN
(EAU D'PARFUM) is 100ml (3,3 fl.oz.) or 3.4 oz, and the cost only $95.00+tx. BIG Difference!
My mother wore the "Arpege Perfume." Liquid only. NOT SPRAY. That was some forty years ago. I believe the actual perfume would cost in the neighborhood of, possibly, four times the cost of the spray, eau d'parfum. Also, the perfume comes pure fluid. If it does come in a spray, I would be surprised.
I will NEVER forget the fragrance that my mother wore. I remember it so well, and I was 3 or 4 years old, and then into my teens. I have searched for many years. First time online.
At least I have the eau d'parfum. Is the actual perfume, Arpege, available anywhere? No one seems to know. Of course, I have not researched it in depth.
