After the original Jeanne perfume from 2008 and Jeanne La Rose from 2010, the house of Lanvin launches a new limited edition for 2011 - Jeanne La Plume, inspired by delicate and glamorous feather fashion accessories.
Jeanne La Plume is a gentle, elegant and feminine fragrance made from fresh and juicy floral - fruity notes. It opens with sensual and alluring aromas of apricot and peach nectar. The heart continues with fruits (orange and raspberry) with the addition of a playful freesia. Sandalwood and musk lightly surround the composition.
The perfume is presented in a gracious bottle of frozen glass in delicate pink and peach colors. Its silver metal cap is decorated with an elegant feather and flower multi – practicum hair accessory.

Sweet but not too much. Very fruity and not offensive, but just a little bit synthetic. It is perfect for the spring time. Girlish and romantic.
Thanks to Nadinka for the nice swap :)
After reading other reviews I was actually surprised that people were quite negative about this fragrance - I've only sprayed a little bit on my wrist but it lasts all day and keeps coming up to my nose and drawing attention to it. And I absolutely love it, for the attention demand is not at all needy or irritating, it simply keeps pleasing me.
I've had the original Jeanne Lanvin before and I was honestly in love with it, as it's quite playful and sweet but not '16-year-old-girl-sweet', fruity and refreshing. Same applies to La Plume, which I would describe as even more fruity, and I totally adore the raspberry note.
I do not like to abuse scents, for people around me might not like what I am wearing (and I myself hate when you have to be close to other people, like in a bus, and you are forced to smell their irritating fragrance, which, apparently, does not satisfy the user unless one pours the entire bottle on), therefore I use just a little bit, so I can smell it myself but it does not go out there annoying people. I use it solely for my own pleasure, because feeling it time to time gives me those butterflies in the stomach, as if I was falling in love all over again, or I was roaming around on a sunny day in May between blooming trees, and the spirit felt as light as a feather - hence the 'La Plume'.
It makes me feel a real romantic, but I wouldn't use La Plume as a 'seductive tool' - it's beautiful and playful, but not something sexy and mysterious. It's totally a spring fragrance - simple, flowering, inspiring, careless, and has nothing dark to hide.
No puedo creer que un perfume de Lanvin dure tan poco tiempo en la piel...acabo de comprarlo y me paeció demasiado suave y volatil, estoy triste, que dinero malgastado!!
Imi place parfumul este dulce-fresh,contine fructe:persici ,smeura, portocale , flori de frezie, e intepator si persista .Recomand pt cine foloseste DKNY red delicios,Gucci by flora, Mrac Jacob eau so fresh, in general parfumuri dulci florale sau cu fructe.
I agree with the other reviews... I liked this one *okay* when I smelt it--just a sweet, fun, feminine summer fragrance. However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the staying power. Now, I know lighter, summery scents usually don't last as long. But honestly, about an hour after you spray this it is absolutely GONE. It's more of a body spray than a perfume--actually, I have body sprays that last longer. For the price I paid for this, I'm pretty upset.
First it seemed to me it smells like cherry, but in fact it was a mix of peach, apricot and raspberry. Nice, but expressionless fruity scent. One of those you forget after two minutes.
The connection with the original "Jeanne Lanvin" is clearly here (which is not always that obvious with "spinn off" scents ) . But i might be definitely too old for these , it really smells like gummy bears , not in a disgusting way though. But too "foody" for me ."La plume" is the French for "Feather" but it's not what expected from such a name.
For under 20 years girls imo.
I cannot believe I'm the first person with the opportunity to write a review! Unfortunately it is not going to be a positive one. I was very surprised to find this fragrance at a popular local chain department store a couple of hours ago. (I've never seen the original Jeanne or La Rose, so you can imagine the surprise and joy to find La Plume on their shelves!) I didn't hesitate to even smell the bottle first before I sprayed it on me, because I simply adore all things Lanvin... BIG MISTAKE. You get a blast of synthetic peach, not unlike ordinary peach scented bath products you can buy at any drugstore. After a few minutes, it settles down to NOTHING. Literally got to jam your nose right up against your wrist to get a whiff of anything and I sprayed a mere 2 hours ago? What a disappointment! I hope somebody out there will be able to love this one, but unfortunately it is not for me. How sad.
I love the original Jeanne! and this one sounds really delicious, also the botle is so cute! I can´t wait to try it, too!! I hope the first review =)
This perfume sounds really amazing to me! Can't wait to try it!
