This is very nice. One of my favourite fragrances. It’s clean, fresh, aromatic and lasts all day. For me a classic without being old fashioned. Thumbs up!
This is a very well-rounded scent! Fresh & clean, but not harsh in the least. I love for my husband to wear this scent. This is his favorite out of all the colognes I have bought for him. I don't think you'd go wrong if buying this as a gift- very likable and manly and good for all occasions & seasons.
This truly shares similarites to 212 Men by CH, however, I hold Lanvin L'Homme as a more mature version of 212. It's such a great fragrance mainly because it's tendency to bare different qualities and aspects of different types of fragrance genres. What I mean is that this starts off as an aquatic, very fresh with a tangy feel to it but slowly becomes slightly spicy/powdery and dries down into a fresh, clean, woody, warm, and pleasant scent. The lavender and pomegranate are creamy, the bergamot is so crisp and almost smells fresh. There's a perfect touch of mint and sage that uplifts the fragrance. There's a hint of pepper that gives it a kick, and a subdued vanilla-amber base that isn't at cloying or over the top because the cardamon keeps it well-rounded. It's bliss in a bottle, that only the likes of Albert Morillas can produce.
This is top quality stuff for a designer and even more so because it's technically a cheapie here in the states. It's remarkably blended to the point that every note is so balanced and detectable. It's so alluring and sexy! Casual and formal! I love wearing this in a white T-shirt and jeans but I've dressed up for a formal events and it still worked beautifully. It does stay close to the skin but that's what I love most because it's made for those who do not wish to draw attention to themselves, which makes it perfect for the office or class or any close-quarters setting. Don't be fooled though, just because it wears close to the skin doesn't mean that it's longevity is poor! On average wearings I get at least 8+ hours and for the price, you can't beat that!
This is a fresh, clean, lemony scent, much like Versache Pour Homme or Aqua De Gio. It goes on just like Versache, but the lemony freshness fades to a kind of flowery middle note that smells natural, and gentlemanly in an Old World kind of way. About 30 minutes in a new leather kind of smell wafts up (subtly), leathery like new shoes. That evaporates and then the lemony-fresh note returns as a skin scent.
I can’t say I’m impressed by the silage and although it lasts a while, after three hours it's just a ghost of its former self. I suppose if you dumped this on yourself (I used four dabs) then you might have some silage to speak of, but if I wanted the Versache Pour Homme vibe, I’d just go buy that.
Very ... well, love it, great for summer outings.
I got this for my husband for Father's Day (blind buy, just read reviews here). I thought that if he hates it, he'll pass it to one of our teenage sons. I love it. My husband likes it too. He is very picky about his perfumes (and does not own many). Since he is very "manly", he does not like anything "in your face" that will demand unnecessary attention to him. This perfume suits him: quiet, conservative manliness. (Plus it is a bargain at $25; he does not like to spend a lot on his "beauty" products. He'd rather save and get a new electronic gadget or some kind of car accessories/parts or other manly things.) ;-)
Lanvin l'homme a fresh aromatic and spicy, the first spray it is hit by citrus, mint and pepper in the second part are very clear, and finally at the end of amber and other sandalwood. The advertising slogan read: would be mad too reasonable, is a fragrance that is worth the expense, from a sense of clean and pure is like a breath of fresh air once you arrive in share and enjoy the majestic landscape that lies before us.
The bottle is very beautiful, one of the most beautiful in their simplicity that I've seen the shape is a rectangle with rounded corners much as to seem almost round, the chrome end cap to cover the regulator, and a bracket that locks the mobile cap.

Very good and fine.
This is about a cologne perfectly made. Here, it is considered a Floral Woody Musk fragrance but, in my bottle (tester), came with a label saying that is a Floral Woody Fruit fragrance.
I feel only the Floral Woody notes.
It is elegant, soft and it stays for a long, long time on the skin.
I have felt in this cologne the same sensation I feel when I am wearing a Bvlgari or a Cartier, for example: the sensation of an elegant, chic and well elaborated cologne.
According to my perception, the target is men above 25 years old, at least. Ideal for daily use, it combines very well with accidental suit (pólo shirts and jeans), as well as with a more social suit.
On the other hand, I don't think that it fits with bermuda shorts, slipper and t-shirt for going to a barbecue. For this situations there are more informal and citric ones.
This cologne does not bother the other people's noses. However, it makes you perfumed the entire day. Without a doubt, an excellent creation of the perfumes' world.
The end of the 90' was good for men's perfumery - among others, it gave us Davidoff Good Life & Lanvin L'Homme.
I have hard time describing this scent. I don't get the separate notes. I smell this fragrance as a whole. Slightly sweet flowers and woods on light musk. Maybe it should be classified as a floral woody musk (flowers first). It's soft & round. A casual day scent for the break of seasons.
You've heard that a milion times before, I know...
But!
I'm really crazy about this perfume. Reminds me of an autumn romance... The man is a MAN. He is handsome, intelligent, humorous and he smells celestial. He is so affectionate, delicate, his feeling warms you like autumn sun, a true gentleman in love. Flowers, long walks in the afternoons, hugs, waltz under the midnight sky ... and his perfume. Is it how love comes?
I can feel all this the milisecond I smell it. And I've never met a man wearing this.
Once again, loud applause for Alberto Morillas.
p.s.
The very drydown reminds me of 212 for men.
Thanks @awesomeness for this nice sample!
Since I first tried Oxygene, I have never been a fan of Lanvin House. This time, I tried This Lanvin L'Homme (and Sport version) and gained my interest back again. If I must choose one, I'd rather have this original L'Homme because it's kinda light and smooth. The citrusy fresh fruit and light floral tones never gets too woodsy but really really musky clean. The overall scent of this, especially at the base, is very similar to my Joop Nightflight (Vanilla=Tonka Bean) but Lanvin L'Homme seems to better behave on my skin and I like it better this way (My wild child Joop doesn't always get along). The lasting power and projection is mediocre however. Still I consider one for my collection. Now it's just a matter of when I will find the right price.
2nd thoughts: wearing it more it last a good 6 hours on my skin. Still not great but I will now give it a 6/10.
It's a citrus/orange scent all the way through for me. It's nice though - definitely worth a spritz and great for hot days
Only this fragrance is fav of my hus)))
And I think one of the best if not the very best man perfume)))
And really has incredible longevity.
Ifmars98 - you should definately try Lanvin Homme Sport. Sport version is classier and totally different It lasts much longer than Lanvin Homme.
Average clean smelling scent. This scent is just too subtle to notice. As of this moment I been wearing it 3 hours and its just about gone with 5 heavy sprays applied. Don't waste your money on this!!! This is at the bottom of my collection. 4/10.
i compleet desagre this is one of the best woody fragrances with an incredible longevity.the touch of musk is like the midas touch
It's fresh ,but not so special....
