Laura is classified as a gentle floral, becoming an essential accessory for women, enveloping her like a gentle scarf, without overwhelming her personality. "A perfume must enhance a woman's personality but not dominate it," says Laura Biagiotti. A fresh top note with peach, lychee and watermelon. A floral middle note with freesia, violet and iris. An ambered woody end note is constructed by sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver, amber and musk.It was created in 1994.

This perfume was a present to me because my daughter is named Laura. I have treated it as somewhat special and kept it rather unused, but when I do use it, it's fresh and pleasant, but not in a way that I'd want to wear it daily.

It's summery and florally fresh and not overly sweet.

Very pretty flacon, I think.

I've worn this perfume on & off, I feel it suits brunnetes, all the floral notes come alive with the freshness of bergamot,perfect for any age, any season,and the final result :feminine

I love this scent since i was a child, its a classic perfume for me. My mother had this and i also used it many times. "Laura" is a fresh, fruity and juicy fragrance, because of the watermelon and litchi, but the combination with the pure flowers and a hint of vanilla makes it to a special one. I could smell this one every time, its so enjoyable, but anyway i would recommend it for spring and summer. People who dont like too sweet or heavy scents will like this one, im sure :)

A kind, floral scent for pretty summer days. Peach comes out nicely. Fresh, gentle and a bit anonymous.

What to critique about Laura...I thought long and hard if I like it..and I still don't know!
When you think Italy...you think loud, opulence, theatric...Laura is the other side..the cradle of culture, civilisation...The Roman arhitecture...in a word class!!
Peach, lychee and watermelon don't overtake the esence of the fragarance wich is a green-floral!!
The aritsan of this perfume tastefully combined trully roman mediteranean essences like parma violets, cedar, jasmin, bergamot with feminine scents: vanilla, peach, rose, lily-of-the-valey and warm touches of sandalwood, amber and vetiver!!
The persistent note is a fresh floral...with soft interferences of woodsy balmy notes!!
Feminine, inspiring like the muse it represents!

What comes to fresh and pure floral fragrances, Laura is a top classic in that group. Smells lovely and adorable and is suitable for women of any age. Not the most outstanding perfume in the market, but a good and gentle "basic" scent for many different occasions. A beautiful sunny summerday in a bottle :)

I agree, when I first smelled it I thought it was ok but the more I smelled it, it started to smell artificial like shower gel or shampoo.

Reminds me so much of Creed's Spring Flower. It is very bubbly and fruity with lots of florals. It smells much like a fruity shampoo or shower gel. I don't like it, doesn't match my tastes. Although there's no apple in the notes, I smell something that is much like red apple, but very faint. I also smell the watermelon, violet, and lily of the valley, with cedar on the dry down. Clean and wearable, a fragrance for the hot summer days.
