Profumo di Fumne is made by a group of fourteen imprisoned women from Casa Circondariale Lorusso e Cotugno penitentiary in Turin, who participated in the perfumery workshop under the guidance of Laura Tonatto. This cooperation is enabled by the cultural and humanitarian organization La Casa di Pinocchio, responsible for various creative and training workshops within the prison system of Turin. The name "Fumne" represents the final product’ logo and it also means "fragrance of a woman” in Piedmont dialect.
Prisoners were allowed to choose all the ingredients of the perfume so it can be as authentic as possible. The ingredients are raw materials that Laura uses in her own laboratory. The intense floral fragrance features notes of rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose on the base of musk and amber.
It is available as EDP.
Profumo di Fumne was launched in 2011.
