Eau de Tubéreuse (Tuberose) : A lovely oriental flower with a heady and betwitching perfume.
Tuberose (Polianthes Tuberosa) originates in Mexico and India. Belonging to the Amarydillacae species, this flower was introduced into southern France by monks towards the middle of the 17th century and planted in Beaugencier.
This warm, strong and penetrating fragrance caused the Tuberose to be classified among the voluptuous, and even heady, fragrances. A skilful dosage of Indian Tuberose Absolute in the composition of the new perfume from Le Jardin Retrouvé turns it into a wonderfully rich and long-lasting fragrance. The nose behind this fragrance is Yuri Gutsatz.
