Yuri Gutsatz imagined an abundant bouquet composed of Carnation also called French Marigold, enhanced by a splendid flowery core of Sclaree Sage, Ylang Ylang and Coriander dominated by the absolute essence of Jasmine (Jasminum Grandiflorum), imported directly from India.

I won a bottle of Jasmine a few years ago and decided to write a review today. I love the rich soliflore contained here. Jasmin is so hard for me to pick out within a composition. Here its up in your face with a few green notes to hold it up. Carnation and clary sage harmonize well with it. Its not the giant French jasmine from Chanel no 5. Its the more exotic wild cousin from India. It potent beautiful EDP that jasmine lovers must have. Its natural without appearing trite. The bottle is hefty and labeled by hand.
Le Jardin Retrouve is one of the endearing little perfume houses you discover when exploring Paris on holiday and a bottle of fragrance is a fine souvenir to take home. There is nothing commercial with the production that plagues so many other houses today. This is the way real French perfume should be, made with loving care and pride.
