Bouton de Rose Le Prince Jardinier for women

I collect rose perfumes - well, perfumes in general, but I have a bit of a "rose" obsession; so eventually this one came to my collection.
It's a lovely rose, bright and crisp, fairly strong, blended very well with peony and freesia; I fail to smell the jasmine and tuberose here; it has some tartness, it must be the cranberry, along with papyrus leaves and incense, which on my skin come very fast; This is an interesting composition, not necessarily memorable, but very pleasant. In the multitude of rose scents, it doesn't really stand out more than, let's say, Rose Essentielle or Stella Sheer, or Paris, or others. But the projection is good, while the lasting power is about average. What I like about this is that even though it smells fresh and clean, despite the incense, it never turns soapy or powdery like other roses. The papyrus and incense leave the impression or an Eastern rose, not the heavy oily Bulgarian type... Recommended only to rose lovers!

I would describe it as a "fresh rose scent", but it's not pure rose, more like a rose in combination with other florals, cranberry and musk. I don't get incense here, it's presence is too subtle.
it reminds me of L'occitane Eau 4 Reines, but that one seems lighter. I expected this fragrance to be more unique than it actually is, although it's not bad by itself. The downside is that it isn't long lasting on me.

Update: I re-tested it a few days ago. Surprisingly, it was much better this time, I even imagined the presence of incense)) also liked the bottle - looks pretty on the vanity table)

This is interesting and so much nicer than I ever expected! I've never seen it in a store, but a friend had it on her vanity so I had to sniff it. I first notice a very green rose scent, like smelling a beach rose bud. I then smell a tart (but not painfully tart) fruit scent which is probably the cranberry. Drydown reminds me of a hippie store I used to work in, a mix of incense, imported fabrics and solid herbal perfumes. This is a mature fragrance, and I would wear it if the rose was a bit stronger and the drydown was a bit less smoky.
