Eau Fraiche de Leonard Leonard for women

I agree with passionata20. Leonard smells too much like lemonade. I remember it to be very strong, lemony and sweet.

Many years ago I took a trip around Turkey on my own. I travelled by bus as it was the most comfortable way getting around as the buses had AC. Still it was june and very hot and you had to get used to the feeling of you own sweat running along your spine. On the buses there were crewmen that provided us travellers with water. Before the major stops they also gave us a refreshing lemon cologne from large plastic bottles. We just cupped our hands together and got a large splash in them to pour on our necks, arms and in the hairline. It helped.

A few years later I got Leonard in a swap (I swapped away Rose Cardin) but found out that Leonard reminded me so much of that cologne that I couldn't wear it as a perfume. Later when I had a purge, I gave it away to a charity shop. Of these kinds of refreshing colognes I prefer Muelhens 4711. I used to have a 13,5 oz bottle of that as well that I also gave away in a purge. A move I really regret today when I can differ the need of perfume from the need of a refreshing cologne.

Very very fresh scent with strong citrus accent. Almost scaring me away becuse smells like fizzy lemonade or just like freshly squeezed lemon juice. I guess too simple. Haven´t tried it on a skin yet, only on paper, cause to me this is stricly a spring-summer scent, and where i live is about -15C at the moment.

Now i have tried it on my skin and for the first 10-15 minutes is is like a fizzy lemon juice, very intense but then it becomes very green and very quiet. Lasts not for a long time. I wouldn´t want to smell like that, not my type really. but it can be really nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. As far as i know it was actually a men´s cologne at the beginning, and it is indeed quite unisex, even more masculine cologne than feminine fresh fragrance.

This one is not discontinued and is featured on a Leonard´s web-site and described as both male and female fragrance. Indeed it can be worn both by men and women.

Another extremly fresh and sparkling scent , so trendy in the 70's / 80's , completely outdated now (unfortunately). It's also the typicaly "after shower after sport" scent , easy to wear , in a good way , it's not cheap and can be worn in many different occasions and by anyone.
Has it been discontinued ???

Hey you all from brazil (I am one of you (male here) but live in the USA). A seller from Florida sells it on ebay for around $17 plus shipping. And this is citrus, a bit similar to eau neuve de LUBIN (my favourite). Lubin relaunched eau neuve in 2005.

I feel fruits and flowers from the bottle and it opens on my skin with sweet fruity roses, no citruses and lavender to my happiness. Nice elegant and feminine.

I know you can get it in Sao Paulo at Iguatemi Shopping Center (Perfumaria Phytá) but you can also try the site "www.leonard-paris.com", contact us, and ask where to get it in Rio, a company in brazil gives you locations there. In sp it costs R$ 166,00 - 90 ml and in Paris, 47 Euros. Goog Luck and enjoy this lovely fragrance.
