Selene Concrete de Parfum Lord`s Jester for women and men

I am so impressed with Lord's Jester. It's nice to smell natural fragrances that aren't overwhelmed by patchouli. Selene is a beautiful fragrance that is demure in nature. I'm picking up on the carnation and violet, which I really enjoy. This is a clean musk, if that makes any sense! The notes are well blended, with subtle spiciness and sweetness.

this is really really nice. sensual and seductive. i can't even put into words how absolutely decadent this is, and yet classy at the same time. this scent is just so gorgeous i can't stop smelling my wrists. its warm, its sweet and its also spicy. i'm loving this a bit more than the spray. its silky and smooth to apply and i can't say enough about how much i love this.

Just stunningly beautiful! After sampling the solid of this wonderful creation, it might very well take the place of my favorite Lord's Jester scent. Favorite seems like such an unfair word, as it implies picking definitively...and I refuse to even try to do that, if I don't have to.

The longer this solid stays on my skin, the more beautiful it gets. I swear I smell Ambergris in the base, and it gives it a wonderful clean scent that when combined with the florals is spectacular! This is very well blended and radiates feminine beauty, but I find myself, as a male, tempted to try to pull this off. As opposed to Helios, which I found very stimulating and awakening, this fragrance is fresh and easy going.
As you can see, I don't even try to dissect this into notes. I believe these complex scents are more than the sum of their parts, and in its totality, has the ability to transform and transport. All aboard!

If Selene EDP is the waxing moon, then the solid perfume is the waning moon...

The EDP concentration is more of a bright and glowing full moon summer night type of scent, where dark flowers bloom in a shadowy wood and magical gatherings happen. The solid scent is a cool night and a moonlight walk through a lovely meadow...

Imagine, if you will, a warm wind blowing through the forest and picking up greens, flowers and soft woody whispers, as you trapse barefoot through a woodland glen under a clear starry night and a sliver of the moon hangs in the sky. Selene solid is the only one of the three cremes LJ offers that I have in the BIGGEST jar they offer. It is absolutely wonderful to apply before bed and drift off to wonderful dreams and have scenting your bed linens. Dreamy, cool, smooth and luxurious...

I now know how Endymion felt as her milky rays embraced him and he knew the love of a GODDESS!!
