I ordered this almost two weeks ago...
So anxious to smell this. Rose, Amber, and Musk? Hello?!?! Yes please!
Once it arrives I will update this post with my review!!!
Warm,sweet,creamy powdery fragrance.
Musk ,rose and amber are main player here.
It's more on the feminine side.
All smelt before to my nose and nothing special.
Longevity 8+ hours with good projection.
Nice but doesn't deserve a niche price.
It's smell's creamy to me. First i smell the roses. Very feminine. Beautyfull fragrance!
Sweet clean musk-old-fashioned roses and something vibrant-a clean but sexy musk, that does have something of a potpourri touch to it. But it doesn't smell too soapy to me, which is a very good thing when it comes to musk.
I can imagine Brad Pitt would smell like this-and it's a sexy scent, as good a musk as Brad is an actor but not really my type-just as Pitt doesn't do it for me. Fabulous balance-but a little bit less sweet (less vanilla maybe?) and this would be perfect. If I could have a bottle, I would most certainly use it-it's elegant sillage and skin all at once in a bottle-but I would be tempted to layer this with something more dry or crisp-and that would be very wasteful for the price AND individuality of this creation. Musk isn't a creation that drops jaws but it is a fragrance that parts lips.
I agree with roboman, it's an unusual musk. It must be, because I don't care for musk scents at all, but I really enjoy this.
It starts off as a slightly spicy, skin-hugging, somehow juicy musk, very hard to describe, but what struck me is that it has character (lack of character is the reason for my general dislike of musks, if that makes sense). A bit later a fine veil of flowers falls on top, made up of hardly detectable, airy roses and beautiful carnation. It had me at carnation. Gorgeous.
It never turns too sweet or too powdery. It doesn't shout. It's totally unisex. It's warm and cosy but it doesn't ever get boring. Some people I know call it drop-dead sexy (especially when worn by men), I call it a comfort scent. Whatever it is, it's totally addictive.
I haven't tried this, so this isn't really a review. Just thought I'd add a fact that this is Brad Pitt's signature scent.
I just repurchased this one yesterday.
Its hard to describe because it is not a musk in the traditional sense. THis one is either a love it or hate it frag.
Here is what i get from it:
dusty rose, white musk, and sandalwood. Its not feminine, but floral for sure. it smells like very expensive potpourri with skin overlayed on it...i have had more compliments with this frag from beautiful women than any toher i have other worn because its so different.
