Press Release: "A fresh, radiant, sunny fragrance, evocative of ancient adventures over strange countries and seas, in the search for mythological lands, the magical Golden Fleece, and unknown, powerful, formidable animals.
An elegant fragrance, noble and timeless, deep, seductive and velvety, full of rare, intense and precious scents, that have existed since time immemorial and rediscovered here. A citrusy, peppery fragrance, with herbs and spices from far-away lands and resins from mysterious plants. The seductive aroma of ancient woods, and flowers overflowing with delicate fragrances." Theseus was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Lorenzo Villoresi.

I really like this fragrance, and doesn't understand why others smell it synthetic. I think it is absolutely not synthetic, (as Villoresi does not have any synthetic parfums I think), so this is a very sophisticated, rather masculin scent. Maybe confident woman can wear it.
