Lelong Lucien Lelong for women

Lelong pour Femme is one of my very favorite scents - you would swear it was a vintage classic! It is intensely feminine, a real "bombshell" perfume, and the honeyed character is due to the ingenious use of syrupy Kadota fig, instead of the usual green fig found in so many perfumes these days. Bergamot, mandarin, magnolia, lilac, jasmine, rose de mai and another unusual touch, vanilla-scented orchid flower instead of the "regular" vanilla make for a luxurious perfume experience. The base has plenty of real oakmoss and a very high quality sandalwood.

Its lasting power is truly amazing- I own the Eau de Parfum and it has the longevity of any Parfum I have ever tried. The gorgeous bottle is truly a pleasure to use. I would recommend this one for evening (or at least NOT the workplace), and for romantic wear, as it is so opulent and rich. It's a perfume for mature women with great confidence in their own feminine allure. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

This perfume can be found at the Lelong web site and and at select boutiques, so don't pay too much for a "rare" bottle on an auction site - it is in production even though it is not as well known as it deserves to be.
