It is available as 30 ml EDP.
warm, milky honey, powdery and herbal (I think it is sage even though it is not listed above)..very positive cosy creamy scent, nice..
Smells just like the conditioner :) Really sweet and girly. Perfect for daily wear. I always get lots of comments when I wear this. I don't really pick out the strawberries, but they must be in there somewhere. Has a really great staying power, lasts all day on me.
I used to put a little tiny bit of the conditioner on my wrists because I loved the smell so much, so I was really pleased when Lush started to actually make a perfume! This is just gorgeous vanilla with a hint of strawberry. Yummy!
I like this scent, but I want to say that the notes listed above are not entirely correct. Where's the clary sage?? Besides vanilla, clary sage is not only listed by LUSH as one of the main scent notes, but it is also the most obvious when you smell it. Just keep that in mind if you are heading in this direction. I do not get strawberries at all. I get clary sage and vanilla. It is still quite nice, but I don't think it's as fruity as it's made out to be.
This to me is very interesting.
The notes should tell you that this one is very very sweet . in line off pink sugar and so , But infact it is not at all . Well it is kind off sweet , but in a not cloying way IMO. It is infact very Waxy . Its like smelling a warm honey, vanilla candle wax.
I cant detect much strawberrys in this . It is milky , warm , honey waxy, orange vanilla almost a bit buttery. very warm and cozy.
This is hard to describe for me who English isent the first languege . But this is like a warm skin scent. some perfumes are cool and fresh one the skin , This is more off a warm blancet,
This makes me think off warm home made cakes .
Sadly this is a bit to warm for me , i like the more cooling type . a bit to waxy to me. but the staying power ... WOW ......
this lasts and lasts forever , i have only put it on my hand a few times to test . and wow this follows me around the whole day;) .
OMG! Couldn't believe this was available on line again!! So I snatched up a bottle!! I just recieved it in the mail.. and WOW!!! even better than my one and only AC conditioner!!! Guess what I'm gonna wear tomorrow!! woop woop!!! SOOOO HAPPY!!
Just like the conditioner, just more concentrated. Lovely!
The American Cream conditioner was a bit of a stayer in my hair....ie...couldn't rinse the darned stuff out! Despite having cardboard hair, I loved the smell of it! So I welcomed the solid perfume of this scent....didn't quite get the strawberries, just got the warming, creamy flavour- the solid perfume did have a rather synthetic tinge to it (mine is a few years old, so that may be the problem)
Edit: after a few hours of wearing the old stock solid perfume, the synthetic has worn off, just getting a warm, creamy vanilla with a slightly musky twist...nice!
The American Cream conditioner did nothing for my hair but I loved the smell. So obviously, when I stepped into a Lush shop and saw the solid perfume... I had to buy it. And then return and buy another one for my daughters.
I can find neither strawberries nor cream, to be honest. In spite of Lush's claims of naturalness, American cream has a little synthestic note and I can't identify a simple, natural scent as its foundation.
It's a lovely, sweet, soothing scent. Like all Lush solids, I bought if for my hair. I rub it in my fingertips and then rub them in my hair. A little goes a long way.
BTW, the good buttery base of these solids makes them effective concentrated treatments for fingernails and cuticles. If you are stranded and have no handcream, and you know that your fingernails tend to brittleness, just rub in a bit of Lush solid perfume. Great smelling hands and happy cuticles. :-)
I LOVE this scent. I'm new to all things LUSH so when I found the American Cream conditioner had been a limited edition perfume I actually cried.. I just can't get enough of it!.... will hunt it down or hound LUSH until they make it again.
I tried solid perfume and I have to say I looooved it! This was my first solid one and I was really surprised how long it lasted on my skin. I would buy this again.
I have Americam Craem conditioner and I can say that this fragrence is utterly superb! I wish I had this perfume... :D
Just so you know, it's the fragrance of one of Lush's really popular conditioner
