MOR Freia is light and fresh fragrance that evokes the atmosphere of Scandinavian spring. Top notes are clementine, mandarin and grapefruit. The heart is composed of Moroccan orange blossom, based on vanilla bean, musk, amber and labdanum. The bottle is decorated with a wooden peacock.
Available as 100 ml EDT Freia was launched in 2009.

Very simple. Not sure I really like it....it's just very plain and uninteresting to me. To my nose it's just a light, sweet orange that fades really quickly to almost nothing. The bottle and packaging is really sweet and a little campy ( I like that!) but there's just not much to the fragrance. I have Dala and enjoy it more than Freia but they are both fairly weak. Dala and Freia seem like they would be great perfumes for a pre-teen girl.
My initial reaction to MOR FREIA is that it smells a lot of Bond no 9 EAU DE NEW YORK. And that's a very good thing! I'm going to have to do a side-by-side test...
Okay, I'm back. In a side-by-side comparison to EAU DE NEW YORK, I find that FREIA is a tad sweeter, but the compositions are really very similar. Perfect for hot-weather wear and definitely suitable for guys and gals alike. My best guess is that this was discontinued not because of the contents but because the bottle is so strange, with a wooden sculpture of sorts appended to the front of the white cubic bottle topped with a wooden stopper. I have to say that it strikes me as slightly juvenile. I would have guessed that this was a children's perfume. Instead this original albeit primary-schoolish bottle harbors a sophisticated grown-up scent. A citrus that I'll be enjoying this summer, FREIA was an excellent überclearance blind-buy acquisition. Freïa starts out the same way that Dala does with its sharp and spicy orangey smell, but Freïa settles down to a soft and clean blossom unlike the fruity Dala. Somehow, it lasts longer on my skin comparing to Dala. There is nothing else I can smell either. It's just subtle and clean floral note with a small hint of vanilla and amber, and it lingers for hours.
The presentation is great. The wooden cap gets my attention. The scent is very feminine but less youthful comparing to the more fruity Dala. At the end, these two fragrances are just adorable. I would love to collect 'em both, but I have bigger fish(s) to catch. :)
