I have the perfume oil and it is very dominating on me. I love the rich creamy sweetness of it but I am too embarrassed to wear it out. It would be like I stuffed cotton candy in everyone's nostrils. If I dab just a little on it is sweet and girlie rather than classy and sexy. I do wear it to bed for yummy dreams

I did a lot of research on this perfume a few months ago because I was thinking of doing a blind buy. I ended up not purchasing it at the time because I came to the conclusion that this is most likely just a musky floral. I'm happy to report that I was wrong.

Supposedly; when they named this marshmallow, they were talking about the flowering plant, not the white puffs you eat. That said, I do actually detect a candy-like scent. To me, it smells like cotton candy and flowers that is prevented from becoming too cloyingly sweet by pink musk. This fragrance is sweet; but in a grown-up, unique way. It's perfect for cool days, as it's a pretty, cuddly scent. I will be purchasing a bottle!

Big thanks to melbritt24 for the sample!

I found this on sale (50 % off!) at a department store and after reading the reviews decided to try the roller ball. Love it! So nice and soft, not overdone. And yes the packaging is very classy and refined looking. Great brand and very nice products. :)

I was intrigued by catbiscuit's claim that MARSHMALLOW is quite possibly the sweetest perfume in existence, so I picked up a small roller ball of the perfume oil and discovered that, in fact, By Kilian LOVE is even sweeter! This is certainly sweet, but it is complex and appealing in the way that special indulgence sweets are. You wouldn't want to eat them every day, but now and then it's a real treat to succumb to this sort of super-sweet yet scrumptious temptation. There is a lot more going on here than just sugar and vanilla.

I am fan of MOR. It's official. Everything they make smells very natural to me. I'm not a cotton candy perfume person per se, but this is probably the best of the genre. MARSHMALLOW is undeniably a confectionary perfume--as its name boldly and proudly proclaims--but it's a nice one, so if that happens to be your thing, you cannot go wrong. For what it is, MOR MARSHMALLOW is better than By Kilian LOVE. As an added bonus, it costs quite a bit less.

MOR Marshmallow ..

Candied Rose Petals anyone?

Marshmallow is a sugary vanillic rose .. very sweet and powdery. An edible modern retro perfume for the feminine ones.

I implied the term "modern retro" simply because rosy scents tend to remind me of the the older perfumes but Marshmallow is not out dated. It is also not sheer or light .. but rather rich, sweet, floral, musky and almost earthy. Linear, strong, and long lasting with impressive sillage (perfume oil form). Dries down to balmy rosy floral similar to many Arabian rosy oud perfume oils without the spices.

I prefer to smell this on a confident and properly dressed woman. A classic red lipstick is not optional .. Oh .. Did I mention .. Must love roses?

PS. Special thanks to Lee79

This does not smell like Pink Sugar, Hypnotic poison...or anything else on the market!

This is original, classy, elegant and unique...unlike any other I've ever smelled!

I first sampled Marshmallow about 10 years ago and loved it immediately, however, I never ended up buying a bottle until now. I recently tried the perfume oil, which inspired me to buy a 100ml EDP. It is ultra sweet - potently so! It is more of a floral fruity gourmand fragrance than an oriental vanilla. There's a tonne of fresh roses, which last for eons, then after about 5-6 hours I could smell some subtle jasmine, and a very prevalent vanilla and cotton candy musky finish (even a hint of honey). My husband thinks it smells like those pink musk stick lollies! It is a gorgeous scent, not for those who hate sweet scents though! I'm so proud that Australia has produced a gorgeous, indulgent scent! I'm really getting into MOR products and can't wait to sample some more of their fragrances! Another thing, if you love roses in your fragrances, you MUST try this one! The staying power is amazing and the silage will fill up each and every room of your house!

MOR Marshmallow Perfume Oil roll-on review:

Powdery, sweet, fluffy marshmallow dusted with confectioner's sugar downplayed by a touch of musk. Cozy and yummy, yet very lady-like and polished.

I'm wearing it today with a baby pink lace cardigan and my grandmother's pearl necklace.

I wear this to help Christina Aguilera's Royal Desire to stay on and Mariah Carey's M. It is strong but people can only smell a little bit on me. These are very hard to find.

This is so soft and feminine. I smell sugar-dipped rose petals. The hand cream is glorious. This is a nice night time smell to put on after a hot bath. I imagine this is what Marie Antoinette would have smelled like.

One of my altime favorites. MOR Marshmallow is gourmand and very sweet. My sister hates it when I wear it - she think it is sickening. I admit that it is dominating, but I still love it. But spray it on in smaller amounts than else, and in good time before you leave home, because if people around you don't love the heavy smell of cotton candy, they will take a step back when they meet you.

You know those musk stick you can get in the packets that you put in lolly bags at your kid's birthday party? The long, odd shaped, pink ones? That's what MOR Marshmalllow smells like. A very unique creation in my books, not something Britnay would have the gall to endorse,"OHMAGAAHD, MUSKSTICKS! YAAH USSAAHM!" though if she did it would smell extremely cheap.
MOR have made this scent with, what smells to me are, much better quality ingredients than your desinger-label market will use, but without charging and arm and leg for the product. They've made the scent smell like a real quality scent. The method is probably so obvious to you guys, but I need to give them credit on it.
My only downer is the alcoholic opening, a lil more so than I expected for this scent.

The sweet rosy muskiness of MOR's Marshmallow is surprisingly complex. Guest moi says it all really. I love just a little in cool weather.

I adore the MOR marshmallow soap, so tried out a sample of the EDP and thank goodness I didn't buy the big bottle, as I would not wear this one often. I like it but it really doesn't smell innocent like the soap, more like rose turkish delight, & the jasmine note is quite prominent on my skin. It's pretty but I'll stick with the soap, thanks.

I find this perfume to be similar in scent to the MOR Marshmallow lotion. On my skin it is very powdery (baby wipes), with a faint hint of floral and it is so, so sickly sweet that it makes the back of my throat feel scratchy. I personally don't think it smells like a marshmallow, maybe a rose marshmallow dusted with baby powder...but not an edible marshmallow. Lasting power is exceptional, even on clothes.

Sweet powdered roses, (lots of powder here!) at first resembling turkish delight. But then the scent evolves into a more floral creation continuing with the rose and bringing out softest white carnation and drying down to a slightly naughty musk scent. In short I love MOR Marshmallow. :) If you're into modern interpretations of retro frag, (such as Agent Provocateur) or you simply love your roses very powdery, don't miss out on this one.

Possibly the sweetest perfume in existence! Don't let the notes fool you, there is no spiciness or florals in here. Mor's Marshmallow is pure sugared powder and the sillage packs a wallop.

This reminds me of a Mr Potato Head but instead of being a humble spud, you are basically a flourescent pink musk stick with eyes when wearing this ghastly sweet concoction.

The bottle truly is wonderful though and the bodycare products at least won't send people screaming for thier toothbrushes in your wake.
