Anse Turqouise by Manuel Canovas is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. Anse Turqouise was launched in 2007. Top notes are sicilian citruses, grapefruit, caramel, bergamot, clove and california orange; middle notes are magnolia, tuberose, madagascar ylang-ylang, ceylon cinnamon, french violet, sandalwood, turkish rose, lily-of-the-valley and egyptian jasmine; base notes are peru balsam, orange blossom, amber, vanilla, caramel, oakmoss, white musk and spanish labdanum.

I don't get any caramel from this. I also cannot call it Oriental Floral; I place it squarely in the tropical floral category. No coconut or vanilla on me. It reminds of the ocean without being aquatic. When I wear Anse, I recall a photo from an interior design book featuring homes in exotic iles: dark wood floors, gauzy white curtains. It is cool inside, but the smells of warm sand, ocean waves, and a tropical garden waft through an open window. All that is visible through the window? The sky and sea are the same teal color, and a verdant palm sways in the breeze. A very serene fragrance.

Anse Turquoise is inspired by St. Barths.
I had this perfume in my wardrobe but never really used it. After a couple of times of testing I swaped it.
No too bad if you like suntan lotion-like smelling, vanilla and caramel based fragrances.
Nice enough to drink but not to smell like.
Do you know Avon's Tahitian Holiday? That's the way it is.
