Anse Turqouise by Manuel Canovas is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. Anse Turqouise was launched in 2007. Top notes are bergamot, clove, california orange, geranium, mandarin orange, madagascar ylang-ylang, ceylon cinnamon and citron; middle notes are sandalwood, lily-of-the-valley, egyptian jasmine, indonesian patchouli leaf, bulgarian rose, orange blossom and haitian vetiver; base notes are amber, white musk, spanish labdanum and madagascar vanilla.

I don't get any caramel from this. I also cannot call it Oriental Floral; I place it squarely in the tropical floral category. No coconut or vanilla on me. It reminds of the ocean without being aquatic. When I wear Anse, I recall a photo from an interior design book featuring homes in exotic iles: dark wood floors, gauzy white curtains. It is cool inside, but the smells of warm sand, ocean waves, and a tropical garden waft through an open window. All that is visible through the window? The sky and sea are the same teal color, and a verdant palm sways in the breeze. A very serene fragrance.
