Top notes are lavender, artemisia, bergamot and basil; middle notes are carnation, geranium, cinnamon, rose, juniper berries and white honey; base notes are musk, sandalwood, patchouli, oak moss, virginia cedar, amber and leather.

very nice,clean,masculine,pleasing to the nose and impression making kind of a scent.A little animalistic too..though it was released in 1977 but it is not a dated one,I mean it still works...
imagine tom ford grey vetiver with its feminine nature removed,loud character of the remaining vetiver lessened and then the vetiver made made a little animalistic this is what u get in marbert man..
The opening may be a little blasting but after 15 to 20 minutes its just great

Marbert man is a hate or love fragrance.
IMO it is based on Oud & Spices.
The Oud gives its high longevity & sillage (projection).
Myself? I love its uniqueness ! :)
