I must be anosmic or at least insensitive to castoreum, if that is possible. What I could smell of the opening I liked...a very animalic yet somehow dry, fleeting composition. I couldn't detect fruit at all; to my uneducated nose it was a vaguely 'diesel' aroma, which is nicer that it sounds. I think it is meant to be a subtle skin scent, and that is fine for me because I own many. However, I do like to smell the occasional whiff every now and then!
