The orange flower and mimosa combination is light and fruity sweet. The mimosa adds to and intensifies the fruity hint - the scent is similar to the freshness of a typical citrus, but sweeter... sort of like satsumas (?)
The tuberose is thankfully sheer and is almost hidden by the developing plum. I'm not familiar with pomelo, but I'm guessing it's a citrus too, or else the top notes are long lasting as there is a sharp bite underneath the sweet plum. All together the heart is very similar to the top notes, the only real difference is that the plum makes the heart heavier.
The sweetness doesn't last too long before the heliotrope in the base develops and adds a powdered cleanness to the fragrance. As the plum burns down the vanilla replaces it, but it is softer then the fruit and compliments the powdered floral note.

This has a poor lasting power - even has a cheap EDT. I struggle to smell anything after an hour and it's totally dissipated after two.
This fragrance can be worn all year round. The fruit isn't too sweet, so you won't suffer any ill effects from the sun, and the florals are mild and lightly powdered, so it's not too fresh in the colder weather.

This is a nicely balanced fruity/floral; There's enough sweetness to make this a nice choice for a girlie-but-casual accompaniment to jeans and a tee, and the sheer florals add enough of a contrast to wear this to work. I personally wouldn't pick this for an special evening out as I wouldn't want to keep freshening it up.

The perfumers were clearly aiming for the sheer florals found in Marc Jacobs 'Daisy', with a dash of the fuller, sexier plum notes of Britney Spears 'Midnight Fantasy' thrown into the mix and they've succeeded.
MIDNIGHT BUTTERFLY is pleasant enough and is light and playful, so it does actually bring butterflies to mind, so it does do what it says on the tine, so to speak. Another plus is that I've found another wearable tuberose, so I enjoyed the effect enough to buy the 6ml tube.
However I doubt I'll re-buy it as it's too sheer - the individual notes all seem to rush past my nose and burn down way too quickly, so I can see myself becoming bored with this EDT.

Oh: I'm banning myself from M&S. I just can't resist buying the fragrances, but they stop becoming cheap when I buy several at once.
