This fragrance is almost like a skin scent because it stays close to skin without any projectiob whatsoever, and I can hardly smell it unless I put my nose closer to my wrist.

So far I like what I am smelling. Zesty fresh citrus is a slightly bitter and sour at first but quickly settle down and stay cool. The tea note is light and refreshing while vetiver gives it a bit woody and clean feel. There is a hint of cool spice & sweetness as well.

There is nothing floral nor anything green here. The bamboo isn't very obvious either. The bottom line is the scent is clean, pleasant and light; perfect for an easy breezy day. Another scent that I can over spray and it won't get loud and obnoxious. It's just very neutral and unbiased.

I have this solely because of the bottle and how uncommon it is. Plus I also admire Japanese designer (is it?!).

I gave this scent to my boyfriend as a sort of introduction into the world of colognes. It is indeed comparatively mild, however it is this described mildness that sets it apart from other scents. Unique from masculine scents that are full blown dark and "woody", or masculine scents meant to describe vast blue and watery cleanliness that I've experienced before. For me, this is a scent that describes balance.
This is youthful and yet sophisticated. Clean but steely. Understated, but truly sexy one on one.

M; Men opens like the stereotypical men’s scent: a lot of citrus, a little pinch of herbs, and quite a bit of alcohol. It’s a little sharp and fairly generic, at least for the first little while. Frankly, I wasn’t very impressed. The top notes aren’t bad; they’re just nothing to get too excited about. However, if you exercise a little patience with this scent, wait for the alcohol to evaporate a bit and give the citrus a few minutes to calm down, I think you’ll find that it’s worth the wait.

After the lemon begins to fade and the rosemary comes out a little bit stronger, M; Men opens into a happy fruity scent. It’s hard to detect what all is in there; at different times I smelled waxy apple, pineapple, tomato stem, melon, flower stem (maybe the bamboo?), orange, and, of course, lemon (though only the last is listed, along with grapefruit and bergamot). It reminds me vaguely of walking down the fresh fruit and veg aisle at the grocery store just after the thunder sounds and everything gets sprayed down.

After the fruity opening, it fades quite a bit and turns softer and lighter and stays closer to the skin. The vetiver starts to come out a bit more, along with the tea, but the citrus and the rosemary are still there in the background. At this point it sort of reminds me a bit of Dior’s Eau Sauvage, though more gentle, without the hedione, and with a far quieter vetiver. As it dries down further, the vetiver comes out more, adding a sort of cold element, which is warmed with musk and nutmeg. This is a great little scent, though it’s fairly subtle, and I’m very happy to have stumbled across it.
