Emotion Divine by Mauboussin is a chypre fragrance for women. Emotion Divine is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2007. Top notes are white pepper, green leaves, caramel and bitter orange; middle notes are mango, white peach and passion flower; base notes are musk and vanilla.

Oh Goshhhh
Absolutely shocking. This perfume gave me nightmares. It smells like cheap detergent and every other gross substance you can think of....

Don't have much to add to the comments from 'guests' : it put me off. I was quite happy to be at home for testing, because I couldn't wash it off fast enough. I don't know how which note it is, but to me/ on me it was disgusting. From what i could smell, I don't know how this can be considered 'chypre'. It smelled only like passionflower, vanilla and yuck. Only positive aspect (to me negative in this special case): great staying power!

I like to put it on at night before going to bed for sweet dreams, it is great on a winter frosty air. Being neither glamorous nor sensual it is still inspirational in terms of simple pleasures like those from childhood. It is neither mature nor serious at all.

I bought it unsniffed and first I was shocked to find out that the opening sounds like acetone mixed with sugar. But after a while it becomes iridescent. One ray of light is changing another. Basically green leaves and caramel are a very strange combination, but I have to admit I like the scent as one of a kind.
