I have it: 13 I had it: 7 I want it: 4
A modern heir of the classic Tabac perfume, this fragrance is created in fougere composition. It opens with the notes of orange, bergamot, lavender and mint. The heart is composed of cardamom, coriander, geranium and vetiver, and the base endows with its warm and soft, balsamic satisfaction of sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli and spicy nutmeg. It is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml edt; 50 and 75 ml after shave, shower gel collection and deodorant.

My boyfriend bought this and used it a few times. He searched for a strong warm scent, that is prominent and has character. But Tabac is too spicy, too prominent, too smoky and too cheap. To macho like in a bad way. Horrible.
I said I hate this on him and he agreed. I knew he wanted a warm scent, but without the spicyness that Tabac has and something more mature and not so cheap scented.
So I bought him Givenchy Pi. Now he daily use Pi and Tabac is just a bad memory of a bad buy that's dusty and desperately hoping that some unexperienced soul will use it again. This was probably the worst blind buy ever.
I made the mistake of buying this without trying it first. Do not, I say DO NOT, be fooled by the cool bottle, low price, list of notes or the "Tabac" brand. This is just not a good fragrance.
It starts off smelling nice and strong, dark and leathery like Trussardi Uomo. I thought I'd just bought another great powerhouse. Once the top notes fade and the heart kicks in, that's when the misery begins.
The poor construction and cheap-ass ingredients in Tabac Man can't hide. It smells like a bland, amorphous blob of smell, with no facets, complexity or character. Tabac Man smells cheap, almost like floor wax, chemically synthetic to the very end. If they had used a higher percentage of natural materials, Tabac Man probably would be a much better fragrance.
Sure, Tabac Man might be a powerhouse, but who wants to smell like floor wax, with really, really good sillage?
MY RATING: 3/10
My dad is a big fan of it. First time he bought it in Germany and since that he couldn´t get in anywhere. About 2 years ago I have seen Tabac in my local store and bought for him immediately! It´s so masculine and really nice scent. Long lasting!
Grrr... so masculine and sexy. Love it on my boyfriend and on my father. Deep, sharp and very intelligent.
Thats how all men should smell. perfect!
