I love grapefruit and your review makes me want to get this RIGHT AWAY!!!

It's unfortunate that grapefruit is not more popular in the states, because overseas the scent of grapefruit is as common and sentimental as apples and cinnamon. I say this because when one smells the complexity of this fragrance, at least in the states, the subtlety and unique refreshingness is totally lost. Instead they are only reminded of the bitter grapefruit they had the misfortune of biting into as a child.

If you are one of the few who is familiarized and lo-v-v-es the grapefruit you will undoubtedly adore this just the same. It's a sweet grapefruit, with lots of green in it's punchy sour opening. After moments however the fragrance blooms, unfurling tempting sweet citrus squirts and blossoms of sunshine. It's very fresh, it's almost floral at moments (in the way an orange blossom fragrance would be).

It's really appealing for this time of year, the beginning of spring, where it's still cold at times but over all sunny. Wearing this, as I sit in by my garden with the birds chirping, I get the feeling that I am completely at peace and belonging to the time and scenery that I am amidst.

Really a lovely delicate scent that has a lot of charm and staying power.
