L'eau de Kasaneka was inspired by the work of Japanese artist Shozo Shimada. He designed the bottle and Shuji Suzuki composed the fragrance. L'eau de Kasaneka is a warm oriental floral composition, complicated and exciting. Spiced accords of ginger, cardamom, nutmeg and basil with a light citrus breeze (bergamot and orange) frame the central floral notes of carnation, jasmine, heliotrope and Japanese rose (Hamamatsu). The profusion of rose is emphasized by musk accords of ambrette seed. Smooth and warm woody notes close the composition: cedar, sandal, vetiver and vanilla.

Can't help it ... i must quickly wash my hands :( I just feel dizzy. This is quite complex fragrance, warm but too heavy, doesn't work for me.

This has an 'ooh I like that!' opening that really draws you in. On me hte staying power was 4-5 hours, or a good half a day. In my opinion this would make a great room scent, but on me not so much a great perfume scent as around the 1 1/2-2 hour mark it turned a little too sweet.

I know htis is listed as an oriental floral, but I don't think the base is strong enough to carry it that far, and I would place it more in the floral category, and a lovely one at that.

This truly is a masterpiece. A powder soft green veil over spicy vanilla soaked wood in a gentle floral breeze. It`s just poetic. One spray and i turn into a romantic.
The bottle is equally lovely, simple yet elegant. What else is there to say.

Very beautiful, oriental smell. But not smell of India or for example of Morocco- heavy, soundly spicy, stuffy. It is eastern - japanese, so delicate and ingenious. Such quiet composition fruits, spicy ( fine smell cardamon, ginger) andy trees ( cedar, vetiver, sanalwood) . In subtleness very magic. Kasenka not cry, not sing. It is whisper. Discreetly elegant, soft, simply - ideally woman's , if we understand femininity as delicacy, warm, elegancy and secret. Very, very pleases me.

The bottle is so fancy!!!

the juice is also nice. The openning is kinda "fresh" because the combination of orange and ginger. Then nutmeg and cardamon take place, bring a softe warm and a little foody feeling.

I didn't get clear floral notes though. Maybe it's because my skin highlights warm notes more.

One thing that disappointes me is the staying power, for a oriental fragrance, it's a bit short.
