I don't know. I'm just not getting any of the notes listed, especially not any amber.
This is a cold, soapy chypre on me with a slightly citric opening, sharp dry floral heart notes, and somewhere in the base there is also orris root, oakmoss, or vetiver, or all three.
The Molton Brown web site lists the notes as: Amazonian passion flower oil with ylang ylang, jasmine, orange oil and violet leaf.
These make a little more sense to me, but it really seems like Molton Brown may be selectively highlighting only the notes they feel are most attractive to shoppers?
