What a fabulous scent - rich, fruity and floral - a very classy perfume with nice sillage, good longevity on me - I love it, total strangers have been complimenting me on it all day. A pity it is not more easily available.
Anyone else have a vintage bottle?
I have a really old bottle, with crystal stopper -- I have a terrible nose, but I can at least say this perfume is animalic, rich, and heavy -- not sweet, and not floral. I get the feeling that it was a completely different perfume in 1932.
You are welcome Paiged!!
Okay Action and Olga. You are not alone. From reading from you two. I bought this. when I see ladies with the same taste and nice descrpitive reviews I trust. This one was awesome and I was so pleasantly surprised. The Peony, which I love and Rasberry dance together extremely well. This is a treat for the senses and I am so glad I got it. I research and read a lot on here before I make blind buys. Thanks for reviewing this one! The quality is so good on this one too. Super elegant day or night...anytime seriously.
Angel10, I am sure you will love Cristobal. It is so unbelieveably beatiful and long lasting.
Thank you, Angel10! I would say I have a different taste, I love unique and elegant fragrances that turn heads. But I guess it's a matter of perspective, I see a lot my favourites are on many people's hate lists.
What can I say....wow. This perfume develops so beautifully on my skin. But this is one of those that you should give 10-15 minutes before it is in full bloom. The complexity and sophistication is amazing! It is a sweet fragrance, but not one of those contemporary cloying ones. Very elegant. Despite the fact that it was launched in 1932, it doesn't smell dated at all. So my advice, go and get it while it is still available for an affordable price!
Action, you are not alone anymore! I'm loving it!
