Elation is a new fragrance by the house of Monsoon, hiding in a flacon shaped like its pink antecedent, but coloured in white nuances this time. A vibrant and sophisticated composition characterizes the second edition created to present, keep and refresh spirit of the brand.

The composition of Elation is fresh, citrusy and includes gentle tea aromas. Opening citrusy notes refresh and tingle in a combination with tea aromas, accompanied by floral nuances of freesia, rose and apple blossom. A base encompasses warm wood and sensual white musk. The flacon is as white as a pearl, while its stopper and neck are made of silver metal.

Cap of the flacon is decorated with motifs which can also be found on its outer carton. The fragrance arrives on the market as 50 ml EDT in April 2010 in Monsoon shops.

Wow, I LOVE IT! Smells totally like a beach! seriously, it just transported me to my childhood summer holidays, smells like sea shells, hot sand, sun lotion and mediterranean greens all together!

It was so much like this that I thought, this is out of place in this grey cold spot of the world, but actually after the dry down I've changed my mind, I think it might work in crispy clear winter days or even on nights out. Maybe not so much if its raining, I think you need to see the sunshine or the stars when wearing this perfume.

Not my cup of tea if there is some in... it smells like any old deodorant or cheap perfume. I would have expected something more sophisticated from monsoon. Disappointing.
