For a mens vetitver scent this is a solid choice. However, the initial top notes are a little to peppery for my liking. But the rest of the middle notes and base notes are warm soft and soothing to the nose. With nice pachouli, vetiver, and cedar shining through the silliage towards the end. Overall great sillage = 8-12 hours consistently. Overall 8/10 for this scent. However, I do not think it is worth the $150.00 price tag.

Second sampling... I must admit, I prefer Vetiver de Guerlain by far. This one is a bit sour and sweet at the same time. It's a pale copy of Guerlain. A decent one even if I didn't like it.

woods and resins. what more to ask for? the opening's citrusy (grapefruit managing to be refreshing, not sharp), and i swear i get a note of pine needles, in the breeze, wet with rain... and the longer you wear this, the better it gets! once again, sandalwood isn't prominent, but definitely there; the presence of cedar - amaaazing. actually, i'd pretty much have to repeat the classification. patchouli? yeah, it's right there busy mingling with sandalwood. spices? WOW-eyyy, red-hot, yet managing to smell fresh, almost green. vetiver rounds it all up. definitely NOT only men's fragrance, it lasts ages, plus is great for hot summer days.

Smells like Terres De'Hermes but better. I enjoy the pepper and cooldown. TDH does NOT have the HOT pepper yo get with this. And if you like that, why not just get this?
