The blue fragrance is dedicated to the calm and balanced side of the female personality. It symbolizes a feeling of loyalty and belonging. A homage to the distinct sensitivity and intuition of women, it celebrates a sense for everything that is beautiful and the ability to perceive the world sensuously and with fond affection.
White jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang embody these characteristics as the heart notes of this perfume.
The white jasmine, also known by some as “moonlight”, emphasises the passionate side, while rose expresses the feminine. Ylang-ylang gently mellows these impressions, giving an especially soft character to the heart.
It is unusual to describe a perfume on the basis of its heart notes, but it is these which clearly illustrate the personality of the woman who will love this fragrance from Morgane Le Fay: a woman who expresses herself with her heart.
Pink pepper gives the composition a hint of vivacity. Together with the other two head notes, galbanum and lily of the valley, a feeling of irresistible purity is evoked.
To conclude, incense and sandalwood accentuate the contemplative side of this woman’s personality. Blue was launched in 2008. The nose behind this fragrance is Nathalie Gracia-Cetto.

Blue is something different from the commercial Florals you can find from the department stores.
If Miracle by Lancome reminiscents a innocent girl in pink Tutu, a crowd-pleaser; then Blue would be a great way to show you the same girl, but grown up and more confident of getting her messege cross.
Ok, about the scent:
Blue starts with something really clean (even a little bit sharp, in a good way), powdery and with pink pepper spicy hint.
Soon the spicyness goes to the background, and sweetness comes in with more floral emphasis. I cannot detect any jasmine, but have a luxary soapy rose scent with some warm and nutty taste. Somehow, this is like a brave and much wearable and nicer version of Hypnotic Poison by Dior.
The dry down is quite nutty sweet, dusky musky, creamy sensual, woody and even a little bit leather-y to me. It is really comforting, somehow reminds me of appreciating a muffin in a lazy sunny afternoon, and starring at the candle light.
I would say Blue is more to the Oriental Floral end rather than a pure Floral.
However Blu lacks of a tiny bit something I really looking for in a perfume I would love.
Anyways, it is an interesting scent to try on.
