Narciso Rodriguez For Her (for women)
Designer: Narciso Rodriguez Olfactive Group: Floral Woody MuskAt first, in 2004 it was launched as EDT in a black bottle in pink outer box. Then in 2006 the EDP was created in a pink bottle and black outer box. The composition was changed, despite the fact that the musk note has remained in the centre of the composition. EDP has rose note in the top. The trace has become more mysterious and rich, thanks to exotic woods – patchouli and sandalwood. Both variances of the fragrance can be described as floral chypre with intensive musk nuance, only the first one is sharper and more aggressive, while the second one is sweeter and softer. The creators of these fragrances are Christine Nagel and Francis Kurkdjian.

It's just about daybreak and I'm already floating away into a tapestry of coriander, osmanthus and orange blossoms. With a kiss from last night's spring rain, I begin my journey into the unknown and some kind of way, I end up in the woods where the sweet muskiness of a vetiver vanilla forest titillates my senses with amber and bergamot. I play around a bit for hours and hours and slowly make my way back home to rest, and yet the floral coriander, lovely amber and rousing woods are still wreaking havoc on my senses as well as invading my dreams.
If you wanna feel your sex-appeal ooze out of every pore of your body.........Then tantalize your skin with the beauty of Narcisco Rodriguez. Because this classic fragrance is a crowd pleaser that will envelope you in its passion from the beginning to the very end.

Orange flowers come out very intensely since the beginning and they are so dreamy! I don't smell other flowers but orange flowers. I love the amber-vanilla edge and the special creaminess of the EdT altogether. That mellow warm creaminess is the special part of the scent. EdT has it, EdP doesn't. Lucky enough, teh vetiver gives just a hint of masculin edge without overpowering the whole blend. Very new and powerful, sweet not cloying, intense and delicate at the same time. It's a sexy elegant and modern scent. Now it's a little bit over abused and over-smelled around. I still wear it when I'm in the period of the month like it. All body products smells divine. EdT layered with the Musc oil (again Egyptian not white!) is heaven, but it's soooooooo expensive!!
I don't like the EdP version because it's very harsh with a strange pungent rose note that reminds me of Agent Provocateur and smells sweaty.

I got a sample from a friend of mine, and it is nothing that I expected. At first spray, there was a slight flowery accord - and then, NOTHING.It felt like it completely dissolved itself into mu skin...Surprised, I sprayed it again. This time, it was coriander and musk, with a little bit of unidentified flowers - a mix of freshness and something musty, reminded me of a dressing room in a theater.
As the fragrance began to unfold, I understood why some reviews I heard about it positioned this scent as the sexiest. It definitely has something indecent about it, may be a mix of musk and amber that gives out the impression of sweaty skin...(There are several perfumes that do it to me). There is also something very medicinal about it, like herbal tincture, St John`s Wort herb, bitter roots and alcohol...
Anyway - when I got to the base, it became almost masculine due to a lots of vetiver.
One must try it on before buying it!

P.S. reminds me Agent Provocateur.

Unfortunately on dry down, on me it smells of lovely flowers and foam rubber :-(
(typos corrected)

It wasn’t a love at first sniff at all. When my mom bought it in 2004, I totally hated it! I used Lancome Miracle as my signature scent at that time, and for my nose For Her was terribly heavy and old fashioned. I almost forgot about NR For Her and in 2005 I had a perfumemaniac conversation with my friend, and we had an argument on NR For Her. My friend said that its great on the other hand I was sure that its horrible. So I had to get a sample of it and test it thoroughly. I must confess-I loved it! Thank you my dear friend Leka, because of you I found my favorite perfume))
What can I say about it now?
Its definitely a love or hate perfume!
For me NR For her is weightless, almost fairy scent! Its so light and tender but at the same time it has a distinctive character. its not a perfume for good girls, its for a “good girl gone bad” story. Its a perfume for a women who know what they want and know how to get it
I personally like EDT better, its stronger and more vivid. EDP is great for summers, ‘cos it doesn’t disturb your senses. I didn’t figure it out about the Limited editions yet. Yes, mirror bottle sounds different but I can’t tell what exactly is different, more citrusy probably. In both EDP and EDT I love musky notes, and how they are combined with florals, on my skin I have almost no woody notes.
I would definitely recommend this perfume at least for test, to everybody. Its an all year round perfume, its modern with slight vintage atmosphere in it. If you like teenage scents it probably would seem too heavy and old-fashioned for the first time, as it happened with me. Now when I use several perfumes from the Serge Lutens line(which are pretty strong, oriental and spicy) I must say NR For Her seems much lighter and girlie.

It reminds me of field in late spring!
At the beginning it was quite light, then it grew stronger. It's not intense, but very solid and might induce headache to someone. I'd like to wear it in fall season most likely, because it's warm and comforting. For me, it's not what I expected. I expected it to be sexy on me, but it's just nice on me :D.
Also I saw there the same bottles, but with 'musc' written on them and fragrance in silver bottle.

Greetings from the south-Argentine and my congratulations to its creator, Mr Rodriguez !!!!!!

PS: As I saw mentioned on MUA a while back, Cetaphil cream really does help Narciso last longer.

Wow!! I think this is pure sex in a bottle. At least it is for me! Beautiful, lusty, ambery musk at first...and then a sweet floral dry-down that teases and teases.
During the first two hours of wearing this, it occurred to me that it smelled how I wanted a masculine cologne to smell on a woman. I realize that doesn't make much sense...but...I have a fascination with cologne and sometimes I think I have found the perfect masculine scent for me, and then, oh no, I find something about it I can't stand. The top and heart of this fragrance made me think about this because of its beautiful musk accord.
Beyond that, it does have a very unique floral dry-down, which is very interesting, as most perfumes are vice-versa. I'm not big into strong florals, but NR's trail suited me just fine...even wearing a suit today! It made me feel feminine, confident, AND sexy.
Lasted almost ten hours, too, which is very impressive in my book. Now I see what all the hype was about! :)

The first sniff of Narciso for Her was very "in your face" with a grandmother type smell, but after the drydown, the sharp floral notes assert themselves and it becomes very different. (Yay!!) I have tried this one on many different occasions, and am still trying to see if this suits me.
I am reminded of an older fashioned but still very sexy couture dress, classic with silks and chiffon... Walking into a ballroom for everyone to turn and ask "who is that woman?" mysterious and sexy at the same time. Not for the shy, this fragrance.
A very complicated and delightfully floral musk, it has a note that makes you want to keep sniffing your wrist to figure it out.
I do not like Lovely at all, on my skin, so I do not smell the similarities that so many have written about.

Lovely, smells exactly alike except it is not as rich and opulent. Lovely is like a 90% copy with red berry notes added to give more freshness and younger feel. But it loses out greatly on the rich velvety and sensual feel of NR.
I would strongly recommend ladies to wear NR instead of Lovely. You wouldn't regret it!
No man can resist a NR Woman!
Saludos desde el cono sur-argentino y mis felicitaciones a su creador, el señor Rodriguez!!!!!!

NR edt is velvety with notes of "Amberlyn" and "Vanilla" to aid in maintaining a smooth composition.
If you want an approachable musk that advertises your bubbly personality, go with Lovely.
If an air of aloofness and mystique is what you require then by all means indulge in NR EDT.

It's a lovely, femenine, sensual, musky, skin scent, just a bit sweet, and I wish I could love it and buy it, but there's something that makes me think I won't be totally comfortable wearing it.
I'll keep trying!

Highly Sensual...
Very Romantic...
The Dry-down melts on the skin as a raindrop melts into a puddle...
Mysterious... you wouldn't really predict the intentions of a person wearing it
It's also elegant... in the most feminine way... I can imagine a dark stage light up with the graceful dance of a ballerina moving only to the notes of this perfume:)
And the fragrance great 2! Modern and mystic, warm and sensual! Nice!!

longlsting and with character, hard to forget.
edp is definitely more agressive, sharp. i feel some woodynotes in there. no vanilla, but instead kind of a plastic feeling. anyway i can also catch lilac ..but only sometimes.

It's like long velvet gloves. Makes me feel extremely feminine. Makes me proud of myself. It's like second skin for me.

Thankfully, it's flowers I like. Not oily tuberose. Not oily ylang-ylang. More like frangipani, or champaca, or really, really strong magnolia. Or peony. Sharp flowers. If I *had* to wear a floral, I might wear this.
the most amazing fragrance i've ever had... it makes me feel overconfident, sexy and beautiful...:)

Few months ago, I was in Paris - in Sephora, and one lady stood in the front of the desk with this perfume and she put the whole bottle on her as long as the bottle was full. She put this perfume on her neck, hair, dress, hat, and once more, and once more.....it was really strange....she was like in kind of trance - and we looked at here around with no interruption... Strange sceene.
