Amor America Palo Santo Natura for women and men

I have been retrying this one and still think that the longevity is very poor and the scent is somewhat weak, on my skin anyway. but the smell is intriguing and very pleasant and easy to wear.

I just got this bottle , a friend brought it back for me from Brazil
I understand its no longer available in the shops and this one comes from a private household. I am not so sure if what I am smelling is palo santo wood ( i will check it next time i am in Brazil) but it has more floral notes than I expected and definate notes of cedar. Nice for hot climates and I like it

Have to update my review. Unfortunately there is always a good reason why something has been discontinued
In this case is the longevity which is about 10 min. What a disappointment. (If I had to pay for this I be real upset)

Natura is not from Argentina, its from Brasil.
ohhh and there are sooo many perfumes from this brand!! :)

This is actually an important fragrance house. Natura is a quality brand, and to my sensibility, the Yves Rocher of the Americas. I hope we see more fragrances described soon. I think they make over one hundred.

Natura has more than 30 lines. I love Acai fragrance. It is a pity that the rest are not available.

Palo Santo is the name of a tree (Bulnesia sarmientoi) growing in the norhern part of Argentina, in Paraguay, South of Brazil and South of Bolivia. It is characterized by very aromatic notes: it does share the common notes of any wood accord, but the originality strives in a sharpness that could be described as smokey and subdued, resembling a kind of hesperidic incense.

Amor América Palo Santo is a floral fragrance, so you are right if you guess that Palo Santo's notes play a minor role in the blend. The opening is clearly floral and lineal, the wood accords being more cedar-like than as promissed by the brandname. There are some hints of it in the dry-down, but this is far from what one might expect after smelling Palo Santo's wood, whose notes would make anyone expect out of it the proper choice for an oriental woody rather than a floral.

Contemporary in style, femenine, with good longevity, stays close to the skin, somehow original, obviously not for those into traditional styles.

This perfume is very different: you really can smell the Palo Santo wood. It is dry and resinous.

The name of the poet is PABLO NERUDA.

Despite of being unisex i think this one is more appropriate for men and Amor america paramela for women.
