My Voyage Nautica for women

I picked up the gift set of this fragrance for $20 about four years ago, around the time it first came out. I was drawn to its inoffensive, fresh-out-of-the-shower scent. I enjoy it from time to time but honestly, it falls victim to being a forgettable fragrance. I have a 3.4oz bottle that is hard to ignore and yet I still forget I own it.

I get a very watery Nantucket lotus upon first spray. That lotus scent sticks around just long enough to have you believe this is a strictly aquatic soliflor creation. About two minutes later the lotus mellows and steps aside to let the bitter citrus zests (basenotes.net lists grapefruit, bergamot, key lime and bitter orange) settle in. I swear there is a strong presence of linden blossom, not necessarily lime, though it is not listed. About an hour later the aquatic and citrus elements combine to make a barely-there whisper of a fragrance. This one does not last long enough or have enough muscle to make it to any kind of base—no musk, no amber—but leaves behind a trace amount of lily-of-the-valley. It makes for an amazing muguet fragrance, so it’s really most unfortunate this one does not stick around long enough to really develop.

I really do not follow any ascribed rule about seasons and scents; if I feel like wearing citrus scents in the winter, I will and, conversely, if I feel like wearing a heavy floriental in the summer, again, I will. This, though, was meant for summer. It does not want to compete with your natural musky scent. It is not trying to fight the salt and sweat of your skin but rather complement it. It is winter and I’m not giving this scent anything to stick to so, as of this moment, I’m a bit disappointed. If I had spent $60 for the bottle I have now I’d be pretty miffed as this one is a high-priced body spray. A great summer scent for $20, not a penny more.

It is a light fragrance and it disappears very soon

The lime and the peony together make this delectable. The amber adds a little depth to it. Wear this on a hot summer day and you will be transported to a tropical beach with a refreshing salty sea breeze blowing. While you gaze out upon the ocean, have a nice refreshing tropical mixed drink. Do you smell the flowers? The resort you are staying in has fantastic gardens full of exotic flowers. Time to pack my bags. The ocean awaits.

My personal opinion:
It's too bad but I can't say that I smell anything clean, light, airy or aquatic in this. My body chemistry failed:(
On my skin it immediately becomes some kind of bitter peppery water, yuk.

My Voyage is inspired by nautical styles, is in a lemon fresh start as a lemon, then evolves into floral tones and fruity enough fresh water. It is a pleasant fragrance, relaxing, sports, summer with a fresh and informal style. Recommended!

This is really different than what I was expecting. The dry down is super woody and warm. I really like this it honestly smells to me like being on a sailboat in the middle of the ocean and smelling the water, fruits, sun, beach, sand and the wood of the boat. That is it in a nutshell. The lasting power is great too. I need to get a bottle of this for sure!

I was craving an aquatic floral...and although this one is labelled "floral," the blue color and reviews told me there may be some water and air to be found in this one. I love the modern design of the bottle...Heavy glass seems to be holding a slice of clear blue sky in ocean water. The first spritz is clean and cool...just what I expected and was after! Then citrus comes to the surface...like sun dancing on water...refreshing and clean. The soft, billowing peony lingers quietly in the background...but really mingles quite nicely with the lime and bergamot. Amber's arrival is barely noticed, while Bergamot and Lime grow more intimate, before all guests subtly leave the party...Sadly, all too soon. Overall, My Voyage is just beautiful. Like all vacations, I'm left wishing it would last just a little bit longer...

got mine this week. it's light and floral. a bit airy and watery. lasting power could be better. but still it is a good perfume. i would wear this one in spring and autumn. for a fresher feeling. for summer it just might be a bit too floral and woody at the end.

this perfume is all about a hot summer day and citrus fruits,Love!!!it has such a classic lemon flavor inside it...I also smell a rose tone and a very exotic note that i can't describe..so get out to the beach before summer ends and don't forget to spray this on ur body...the summers heat only brings out the best in this perfume and it lasts long!!

I find it to be sweet floral Scent with an aquatic touch. It is very similar to Bermuda Blue, but My Voyage is juicier, sweeter, and more feminine. Still I would go for Bermuda Blue just because The scent is more complex and more woody and the bottle is slim, so much easier to travel with.

Clean, light& airy. Great for everday, Summer& daytime use. It's not too citrusy. Just fresh& clean!

This is the most beautiful scent in the world but I prefer more heady strong scents but this is just a gorgeous scent all the way around. Floral and sweet mixed with aquatic.

This isn't really a traditional type perfume. It is light and refreshing and doesn't clash with the scent of suntan oil in the summer. It is a casual scent for when the weather is hot.

Floral? All I got with this perfume was lemon juice. Fresh, clean lemon juice. It never developed any other notes on my skin. And it was gone almost as soon as it dried. I loved the bottle, but I ended up giving this one to a friend. On her skin, at least the lemon juice seemed to last longer. Idea of spritzing bathroom other reviewer mentioned: great idea.

I liked it at first because it was flowery with that aquatic feel to it. I wanted to replace Cool Water from Davidoff that time. However, I only used it a couple of times and I did not reach for it again. Now I use it to refresh my bathroom with it time to time. As others said it is not special or something really good. The bottle is cute though and it lasting power not bad either. However, it is not memorable, amazing or yeah meaningful scent.

I love this smell on a woman. Smells nice and light and sexy.. Until my mom bought it one day, now I can't stand it.

Tender powder, pepper and paper. And yes I mean paper as white paper and the flower and lime are only a shadow. Not masculine because of the tenderness but not floral or too citrusy. It is very clean and pleasant from the beginning to the end. Contrary to what others have written my experience with the longevity of this perfume was pretty good. I did smell it the next day on my wrist and to me that is a good indicator of a perfumes longevity.

i find this one as an aquatic.fresh and and,i love the peony that is enhanced by the lime.smells like a long cold drink of water tastes

My Voyage isn't terribly memorable - it reminds me of many other perfumes I've smelled before without establishing a unique identity.

Baisically a light, pleasant, powdery, fruity, floral, aquatic. A little bit sweet, a little bit citrusy. Not bad, but not super special or long-lasting.

Smells a little bit like candy mixed with a marine scent.I like the bottle it is cute and the 1.7 oz is compact.I like this one alot.

Oh My God, I love this scent! One of my top 10 scents ever! This is a very herbal scented perfume and it smells like Herbal Essence Shampoo from the 1970's. It is just perfect harmony to my scent glands, they love this scent!

This is rather nice for a summer day. It is definitely more floral than fruity, but light and not very long-lasting or particularly memorable. I think I'd have to reapply it frequently, sort of like a body mist, so this would probably not be a good choice for me unless I were to buy a large bottle. I like the combination of lime and peony, but prefer it in Burberry Brit, which is stronger and has a more interesting dry-down.

I just bought this fragrance, and I love the fresh grapefruit and pink peppercorn notes; however, as others have mentioned, it does not last long at all. This might be one I have to carry in my purse to freshen up during the day.

I love this fragrance! After my first smell, i knew i recognized some notes. its smells like summer and happiness. i love the shape of the bottle aswell.

My Voyage is such a refreshing clean scent, without being too citrusy. The combination of lime and peony is lovely! It makes the fragrance subtle and delicate.

Very very pleasant fragrance overall!
