Forgive me if I'm becoming too wordy but this is a "perfumed" memory, wish I could fit her into 5 lines!Donna Nautilus was a perfume I never owned but always knew exactly what it smells like!
I remember myself, not a few times, sneaking, as quietly as I could, into my eldest sister's room, just to smell the bottle of this perfume. It was one of her favorites back then and no one could touch it except herself. It was a very special fragrance. I'll never forget the feeling of that alluring trail of a spicy freshness that was following her whenever she wore it. Sometimes I was even jealous thinking how men were flirting her by complimenting her perfume. I knew I had to feel it on my own skin.
First time I decided to spray it, I was so excited, almost like a foolish kid. But when I did it, some kind of magic had happen and the scenic suddenly changed. I was transfered into a yacht sailing in the middle of a crystal ship. Lying down, tasting the salty breeze of the see combined with peaches, bergamot and many other fruits that were quenching my thirst.
As the hours were passing by waving through my sailboat, smelly roses and colorful orchids overflowed my soul with romance, while the golden sun was about to dive into the deep blue. Sweet spices, woody notes in an orient night nearby the sea are the right words for my ending to this story.
Recently, after so many years I sampled this perfume once again, waiting with much curiosity for the response of my senses. Honestly? It gave me shivers all over my body!
