This is very nice, I can't smell the individual notes, it's just beautiful as a whole. it has a very clean smell which would be lovely for summer - nice dry down.
This is a prototypically commercial-smelling scent, strongly floral, prickly, and soapy with a woody-musk base. It has mega-sillage even from a tiny spray and sticks in the nose. It has some fruity notes, and I can smell the mint.
However, mint, “linden” and clean musk notwithstanding, I really don’t like this. It’s too in-your-face commercial “clean”, too floral, too much, a caricature of cleanliness and “nature”. The sillage was so overpowering that I washed some of it off so as not to asphyxiate myself or other people in the house, and was left with a tolerably attenuated version of the scent that lasted 8+ hours. I’ve found that if I simply sniff once at the spray mechanism on the vial, I’m left with elements of the scent bound to all of my olfactory receptors for a full hour.
I can appreciate the fact that Clear is a well-made perfume, something like a super upscale, deluxe version of a shower gel or celebrity scent, but it just doesn’t appeal to me.
In the beginning it reminds me a bit of Sunset Flowers Montale but then it becomes softer with a hint of fresh mint and mildness of linden. If the fresh air could be worn as a perfume - it would smell like Clear.
Smelling Clear for the first time , made a great impression. Although nothing new it was so well executed, with what seems to my nose first rate materials all married in a perfect pitched whole. The pink frapefruit, that woke up my senses, the uknown resin that mingled with herbs reminded of a hollistic tea, the subtle cedar addition. But although i admired it give me the idea, that it has a place mostly on the skin of people that don't really like perfume, or they need their scent to be extremelly discreet. I can imagined it on runners, personal trainers and people that want to wear perfume but they have to do it secretly. And things like that made me sad. but this one is perfectly made if you want something like that.I don't but that's another story
This is such a fresh fragrance, it starts off with that direct from the shower-feeling. Even tough the middle looks like moore fresh and crispy notes I notice an almost buttery, soft and very comforting flowerfragrance, that makes me think of tuberose even tough no one is listed.
I am usually more of a dirty/skanky frargancelover, but this is so pretty and welldone so I like it anyway. When I want to feel clean and fresh in a comforting and gentle way this is one of my absolute favourites in that genre...
Pretty longlasting and with quite good sillage too.
