Premier Jour is the first day of the new ear for Nina Ricci, and it announces the restitution of the original codes of this brand. The Premier Jour fragrance merges with the form of a woman, without any particular accentuation of itself. Its sensual scent is aimed at body rather than thoughts. Optimistic mandarin and joyous sweet pea in alliance with gardenia give an intimate nuance to sweet note of the composition.

Delicate orchid, vanilla, and woodsy-musky base notes blend in a lingering soft trace. The designers of this fragrance are Sophie Labbe and Carlos Benaim. It was launched in 2001.

► I have received today in 30ml and I am very enjoy. This is only fragrance from Nina Ricci that I like... I really love this soft in top notes and spicy in a middle, Then come after a good woodys notes (sandalwood) and sweet vanilla.
This smell is a ideal for wear in summer ♥

I sprayed 150 ml of it and I got so accustomed to it that I stopped perceiving it. For me Premier jour is an expression of a feminine innocence and its quite subtle aroma suits everyday occasions and office environment.
Yet, it is too ordinary one - I won't wear it again because I'm in search for more extravagant ones...

does anybody smell a hint of something smoky in the opening of this one? I think it may be just the bottle that I got, but would be interesting if someone else got a whiff of it too..

I used to think this one is heavy and powdery and without trying I was successfully avoiding Premier Jour. Until the day I actually tried it, which was a couple of weeks ago. A big surprise, loved it. I wouldnt call it oriental, it is more floral with a touch of vanilla arome. It is on my wish list, but going to purchase it for spring, I dont think it is suitable for winter.

Very soft and pretty. One of my favorites. Picked it up on my honeymoon and always brings back wonderful memories. Perfect to wear to work, very non offensive and soft.
