Ocean Pacific for Women smells like someone dropped a bottle of dirty musky granny perfume in a box of fruity pebbles cereal, shook it up, and poured it in a pretty bottle. Magnolia is a deep heavy floral and adding musk with white amber makes it over powering and old smelling. Honeysuckle, hibiscus and water lily are all light sweet florals and are beautiful when they are not mixed in with magnolia and musk. This fragrance is a big failure in the Ocean Pacific collection. Dislike!

I think this perfume smells very floral and also tropical. I purchased it only once but it was good. The men's scent is very citrusy.

When I first got my bottle of Ocean Pacific, as a blind internet buy, I quite liked it and thought it was pleasant, although it's very floral and not a perfume that I would ordinarily have purchased had I smelled it and been able to test it first. Unfortunately though, the more I smelled it the less I liked it and I've only worn it a handful of times, and each time in the hope that I'd like it more and that it would 'click' with me.

What disappoints me most about this perfume is that, as with sweetmagnolia, I was expecting a more beachy, fresh, perhaps slightly exotic scent, but this isn't any of those things. It's an intensely floral perfume, but I'm just not an overly floral perfume type of person! I can't say it's a bad perfume, because it's not, but it's just not right for me. The best thing about Ocean Pacific for me is the bottle which is unusual and really nice!

UPDATE:-
It was quite warm here today and I spritzed some of this on to see if I liked it more during warmer weather and I do! It smelled really nice the longer it was on my skin. I still think it's a bit too floral overall for me yet it does smell nice. I think for me it seems to be a seasonal kind of perfume and smells better to me during the warmer weather! It doesn't seem to last too long on my skin though (only around 6 hours or so) so the staying power isn't great but I can still recommend it because it is very pleasant smelling!

Ocean Pacific suprised me a little. I was expecting a beachy type fragrance. You know, like ocean, salt air, with the slight hint of tropical flowers?
However, what I'v discovered is a very nicely blended floral with a bit of a tropical feel. For me, Honeysuckle is the only note that actually speaks up loud and clear, with the musk and white amber creating a nice balance between floral sweetness and slight, warm, earthiness. Ocean Pacific for Women is clean, casual and pretty and while it has good to excellent longevity and projection, (IMO) comes off less like a perfume and more like a really great smelling body lotion, which makes it perfect for every day wear.

Smells unimpressive and old lady-esque. I can appreciate a quality floral when I smell it, but this my friends, is not one of those. Its synthetic and smells cheap. No thanks.

I cant smell any musk or amber- just floral.

It reminds me of a sweet pipe tobacco scent - and therefore gives me a headache.

The bottle is pretty though .

Ocean Pacific is a lighter floral with an Oriental musk touch to it. It's not distinctive or wild but just smells like a traditional perfume. I found a good deal on two small bottles of it . It has a nice sturdy plastic bottle in the 1 oz size that is easy to take with you. At first it was floral but it fades into a soft amber woods sort of scent on your skin after a few hours. I liked that too . It isn't too strong with the floral part, just nice. It never gets sharp or too sweet and doesn't have one note that comes on too strong. I thought it would smell like the ocean but it's just a nice easy to wear perfume. I live near the Pacific Ocean and I could picture wearing this on a trip to the beach. It doesn't get overwhelming with the perfume smell and wouldn't be offensive to the other passengers in the car. I think the plastic bottle is too different so it didn't sell well. You can get a really good price on it and it's not a "stinker" that they are trying to get rid of quickly.

My impression is that Ocean Pacific is not "pure floral". To me this is an Oriental floral. It must be the musk. I really like it because it holds and is very reasonable. It has a quick dry down. I think this one would be good for any season. Now the OP Juice is another story. It is very mild and meant for hot weather. Ocean Pacific is my favorite of the two. Sometimes I spritz OP Juice all over me and then add Ocean Pacific to my pulse points.

I like this fragrance. This is a very clean, floral....Who doesn't like clean, right?? Fragrances definitely react differently to each individuals body chemistry and fortunately this one agrees with mine. I usually prefer a fruity floral, but this works great with my body chemistry. This lasts on my skin all day, does great in hot weather and it's very affordable. I give it two thumbs up :-)

This is one of the pure floral fragrances without being mono dimensional...No sexy, no seducing, but really feminine...
None of the listed notes I've detected alone but it's right that the florals are so well blended(and that's almost a masterpiece for me as a four season perfume).
Highly recommended for floral fans...

Ocean Pacific was an impulse purchase for me because I thought the bottle was cool. It's not a complex fragrance. The opening is very floral. I did not find it to be overwhelming, but it is a watery type of floral so it isn't unpleasant, but it's not anything original. It also seems to have a hint of raspberries to me. The drydown of the fragrance just smells soapy and clean. Overall, it's a good casual summer activity type of fragrance. Ocean Pacific for Women is nothing groundbreaking, but it's pleasant enough.

I fisrt smelled Ocean Pacific about four years ago when I was shopping in the mall for a new fragrance. I didn't purchase it that day, but it smelled really, really good. Well, two years had passed since that day and I saw a bottle of Ocean Pacific on a perfume website. Remembering how beautiful it smelled, I bought it and anxiously awaited for it to come to my house. However, my excitement was short lived. I sprayed it onto my skin and the sent overwhelmed me, and not in a good way. It's very floral, which I'm not opposed to, but this one didn't work with my body chemistry at all. I think it was the water lilies, but I'm not sure. To put it lighly, the strong aroma made me sick. I didn't understand why it smelled so good at the perfume counter but smelled so horrible when I tried it years later. Then I remembered, I smelled it on paper and not my skin. People, please try this on your skin. Perfume on paper smells different than it does on your skin.
