Tuberose is a rich, intense and sensual fragrance of tuberose flowers. It was launched in 1939 in Italy. Top notes: jasmine, ylang-ylang and orange blossom. Heart: tuberose, black pepper and clove. Base: styrax, benzoin, cedar and sandalwood.
Available as 100 ml eau de cologne.

Nordic Jasmine
One of the more beautiful and pure tuberose perfumes I have come across, never becoming cloying.
It has an interesting buttery soft scent to it. Most tuberose tend to go quite sharp and over-powering after a while, whereas this one just softens, with the jasmine and orange flower coming out after a couple of hours.
A gorgeous warming yet floral scent where the tuberose is subtly surrounded.
This is one that I want.

This tuberose is for all occasions, yet sensuous and true to itself. To me the accompanying notes that come out the most are ylang-ylang, jasmine and sandalwood, but the tuberose is not obscured by these notes. They merely serve this proud flower. I also feel the subtle spiciness keeps this fragrance from being annoyingly sweet.
I'm so happy to have this. I think that Santa Maria Novella colognes are of the highest quality, they have very good staying power for a cologne concentration and come in really pretty bottles.

I just think it's amazing that it dates back to 1939. Very modern composition.
