The house of Oilily has launched a fragrance named Oilily Classic in September 2011, to accentuate youthful style and poetic spirit which reflects in all editions of the collection. Oilily Classic is actually the popular fragrance Oilily Flowers introduced in 1996, with changed name and packaging. The modern composition favored by numerous teenage girls, remained unchanged and it will rejoice us with fine, fresh and fruity aromas, flowers and sophisticated woody accords.

Top notes incorporate memorable aromas of Sicilian mandarin and Spanish lime. A floral heart offers jasmine, cyclamen and lily of the valley mixed with fruity notes of melon, peach, plum, apple and passionate raspberry. Base notes encompass Serbian oak moss, Indonesian vetiver and sandalwood.

Oilily Classic is available in a new, redesigned flacon with romantic, floral patterns.

I wore this as a youngster and looking back, I understand how this fragrance can be deeply "polarizing" in that you will either love it or hate it. Oilily Classic always had very strong projection on my skin, with the sour [from citrus], sweet [from alkaline fruits], floral, and woody notes all poised to assail the senses at once. If this perfume were a young girl, she would be sanguine, vibrant, and peppy w/ a taste for the exotic - perfect for those who want an olfactory waker-upper. But if you want something discreet I suggest skipping on this, especially if you plan to wear it in tropical or humid climes where this scent mingles with the moisture in the air or on the skin, making it slightly overbearing.

This is a kind of all flowery and fruity scents that I can only see on young girls. For me it's a bit too "kitschy".
