While most of the Opus oils are blended well, I feel like this one is a bit muddy. The chocolate notes with the sea saltiness is wonderfully interesting, because it attempts a really unique balance between earthy depth and brininess. I'm not entirely convinced it's pulling it off. Sadly, most of the interest quickly fades with the topnotes into a slightly boring green naturals scent.

This fragrance embodies modernity and antiquity in the same scent. The top notes do not last long at all, but they keep the scent fresh and light for a while. The lotus, neroli, and sea water are not easily distinguished separately but their combination provides the modern and bright opening. The rose functions well to bind the other notes, the rose is so very soft; almost imperceptible, while the other notes are constantly mingling. The ylang ylang is a sensual and the dark chocolate a sophisticated. The dark chocolate not sugary-sweet! The combination of the two together is enticing, dreamy, and lofty. The mid notes and dry down stay floating and mixing so beautifully for hours, and the feeling of a fine vintage lace; dusty (but not musty) comes along. The dark chocolate prevails during the whole wearing time, but, it does not destroy or mask the other notes.
This fragrance is pleasant, sexy, new, reminiscent, inviting, charming, and over all-artful. It stays close to the skin, being and oil. Very enjoyable...
