Ascendant Pure by Oriflame is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men. Top notes are bergamot, amalfi lemon and red apple; middle notes are jasmine, musk and guaiac wood; base notes are amber, cedar, incense and sandalwood.

Ignore people saying this is like Gucci rush, its really not.
It has no incense or really woody muskyness, just a floral opening with a strange glue type note which if anything reminds me more of Boss bottled. Settles to a woody rose type aroma, Its ok but i wont really be wearing it.

Ascendant Pure is surely the best from Oriflame.
This perfume created by Christiane Plos.

Very pleasant,fresh oriental scent with a special elegant , creamy ,woody undertone which I like very much.
This Pure version is VERY different from the original one in black flacon (that one is full of vanilla)!!

It smells almost exactly like white Gucci Rush for men. Top notes seems a bit different (more fruity-flowery with apple and a hint of jasmine), but 15 minutes later and especially the drydown ( base is cedar + sandalwood + incense + musk <== from Oriflame homepage) is identical to Gucci Rush.

The bad news: the weak points of this new Oriflame scent are the same as the weaknesses of Rush were: sillage and longevity is below the average.
Despite of these Ascendant Pure is my absolute favourite from Oriflame.
Many-many compliments I got when I used it in summertime:)
